I have mad respect for anyone who can do full mods like this. Around 3000 sprites is a LOT, and with how stylized this game is, it can be hard to match it. But these guys managed to nail it perfectly! Fake Pep has just the right amount of goofy and disturbing without overdoing it. This genuinely feels official. I know it's still in development, but they should feel proud of what they've made becuase WOW.

I love his 3+x combo tv sprite. He's just pointing excitedly at his pizza like "look, guys, look, I did a thingy!!!!"

I may just be overthinking, but the Pizza Time and Lap 2 songs feel like they have some meaning to them. Fake Peppino's boss theme is its interpertation of Pizza Time, being uncannily cheerful. That's because Fake Peppino never experienced true fear, only happiness. When it ACTUALLY gets to Pizza Time, the same theme plays, but with more panic. Sirens, danger, but not alot of fear. It's just happy to finally experience what he wanted to experience. Lap 2, just like how it gave Peppino confidence, something he rarely gets, gave Fake Peppino *true* fear, something it *never* got.

I love this mod's version of "It's Pizza Time!". It's changed just about right to sound a little bit "off", while still being recognisable. The same thing goes for "The Death That I Deservioli"

How I imagine what happened, was that the mod was taken down, and then LITERALLY EVERYONE GOT MAD to the point that they brought it back because of fear

@@CreeperJaxon actually what happened was they were distributing a modified copy of the game instead of just the files that needed to be modified. Gamebanana is not okay with being used as an inadvertent pirate site.

Very happy to see they changed the Pizza Time and Lap 2 themes to fit Fake Pep, I absolutely lost it when his chase song started up. Part of me still wishes the Pizza Time theme was just Pizza Time Never Ends, but I'm loving the new one

Fake peppino is really getting his mod updated!

The icing on the cake (or I guess in this case the cheese on the pizza) is the SOUNDS. They could've just reused the sounds already present in the boss fight and then called it a day, but no, they went above and beyond implementing custom versions of sounds to complement the ones that already exist while sounding just right (such as the custom tire screech when turning around during a dash). Truly worthy of a chef's kiss.

I love how many of the sound effects are deliberately 'off' from their vanilla counterparts. Like the Mach 2/3 dash and the hard turns. It's an awesome detail that just adds so much to the 'fakeness' of it.

My favorite Mod! OMG! I love Fake Peppino so so much! This mod is so unique and masterpiece on its own! I really like how RatCate (the creator of this mod) and his team put lots of effort and love on this mod! First of all, I love that Fake Peppino has his own unique and special moveset (and also, they kept and the original one from Pizza Tower). Secondly, his TV Hub. OMG! I love when he show us with proud the pizza that he made or when he stuck his face on TV (I seriously feel that he will talk to me! His face and smile is so adorable)! D'awww! And his knight transformation is so awesome! He looks taller and more powerful than Peppino (plus it's so hilarious that he lifts and sword and rock at the same time)! Don't forget to mention that in title cards, only in floor 1 they changed them with Fake Peppino! Now about the newly songs on this mod! I was in shock with good way and excited too when I heard these newly songs! And because many people are asking about these songs, I will tell you about them. A person called MagnumTunes in KZread created five songs for this mod (only four are available now because since lap 3 is not available, then the song Pillar John's Day of Reckoning is not available in the mod yet). About the other songs, MagnumTunes created mashups, combinating Peppino's and Fake Peppino's original songs from Pizza Tower. And let me tell you the names of the songs: Fake Peppino's escape theme - > Pizza Time is Here! (combination of It's Pizza Time and Pizza Time Never ends) Fake Peppino's lap 2 -> Alright Campers, Time to get to Work (combination of The death that I deservioli and Alright Campers, Time to get up and shine) Don't forget to mention and two unique songs in two different levels: In tutorial - > Tarantella Vacation (combination of Ground Bound, Funiculi Funicula and tarantella napoletana) And in John Gutter - > Unatural Soul (combination of Unearthly Blues and Pizza Time Never ends) Oh and if you wonder what happened back in November 2023 when the mod had been taken down from Gamebanana Site is because RatCate uploaded that mod in Data.Win file and Gamebanana thought that it was a Pirate Pizza Tower game (Geez...). After this mess, RatCate and his team recompiled the mod into Xdelta patch and after all this waiting in December 27, 2023 the wonder happened and the mod uploaded in Gamebanana Site again! Thanks heavens cause I was sad too when they took this amazing mod down (Seriously Gamebanana. Oh my...) And if many of you ask me why I didn't download it when it was available back then, well, I waited for the mod to be fully completed before I play it. HUGE MISTAKE of my life! Anyway, when in December 2023, the mod came back I downloaded it without second thought because if I lose it again, I will gonna be sad! Very sad! (Sorry for this huge comment but I really needed to mention few things since I already played that mod and finished it back in January 2024 along with all P ranks, secrets, toppins and achievements. I wish I could save and Snotty back then unfortunately, Fake peppino ate him! Oh well...)

I always feel that if the Tower ever got put back up, Fake Peppino would stop normal Peppino from going into the tower and would take it on himself. I mean, Pizzaface made him and abused him, while Peppino just defended himself and even gave him a place to stay after the tower collapsed.
