Great demo! If joystick caps are installed on the joystick, will the joystick be pressed when placed in a Skull & Co case?

Have you experienced any accidental power ons while using the carry case with the grip case? I have heard that was an issue

How heavy is the case? Steam deck for me is not the lightest device to hold so I’ve been very hesitant to add any more weight to it. Would it make it much heavier with the case on?

4.6oz or 130g. It adds a very small amount of heft to the deck, much less than the Jsaux modcase. I actually find it more comfortable and more bearable to hold for longer periods of time with the case on rather than off.

What are the other grip cases that are for the S.D.O ?…

Does the grip case feel a bit loose around the palm grips? I've heard some folks say that it has a bit of play and doesn't feel as snug as you'd like. What's your take on that? Also, I've heard that the snug fit of the Skull & Co zip case causes the unit to power on inside of the case. Have you found that at all?

I have not found either to be true in my case, I was worried about that as well from some reviews I had seen but so far so good for me.

With that said, maybe there is some variance in the manufacturing, or they potentially fixed the issue, but in my case things are good.

@RedNocturne, just received mine from Aliexpress and it's a bit loose around the palm grips. Also, it does fit the steam deck oled case without any problems and doesn't press que thumbsticks, even with the skull co thumbsticks grip on.

Is the skull and co case compatible with the jsaux travel cover? Nice content btw!

Thank you! Off the top of my head I can't say for sure, but also are you refferring to the gripcase from Skull n co or the Everyday Carry case? I'm also not aware of a Jasaux travel cover, I checked Jsaux Steam deck accessories page and don't see a product by that name. All I had was the Modcase.

@@grahambinoreviews yes the skull and co grip case, I'm sorry Jsaux modcase haha! It gets confusing I guess because of alot of 3rd party stuff. I'm trying to get my hands on a better case for the deck, dbrand is hard to get here in the southeast Asia so I'm mainly left with skull and co as well as jsaux. @@graelstream2353 In that "case" then I'd say they are not compatible. It's possible that the front cover of the modcase may fit over the front of the gripcase, but it would probably be a better fit to just buy the skull n co everyday carry case to fit the grip case.

For a high end mic (from the looks of it), your audio seems pretty low. :(

Does it still fit inside the steam deck oled case with this on?

The video says it doesn't, but I have one of these and I've never had a problem putting my SD back inside the official case with this on. It fits fits perfectly, if a bit tighter than without it.
