People should know that it’s Georgian shepherd and comes from ancient Georgian land,, 🇬🇪🇬🇪 russians calls caucusion shepherd and it is not true, , Homeland is Georgia of that shepherd.

კავკასიური ნაგაზი არის სწორი სახელი მაგ ძაღლის . საქართველოს დაღესტნის აზერბაიჯანისა და სომხეთის ტერიტორიებიდან აიყვანეს ჯიშები და შეაჯვარეს ერთმანეთს და მიიღეს კავკასიური ნაგაზი. რანაირადაა მხოლოდ ქართული?!

@@gezzapk It was Georgian shepherd centuries ago what you call now Caucasian shepherd.First Russians mentioned that dogs as Caucasian shepherd and then everybody started to mention that dog by that name.

@@mango6339 well the caucasian shepherd was developed by the soviets and later russians... but most of these breeds are pretymuch the same the only difference is the coat type

@@RePlayBoy101 caucasian shepherd was called Georgian shephered and was bred in Georgian highland's for herd protection. Lately when the Russian empire expanded in Caucasus region they started to call the dog Caucasian shepherd, which is wrong.

ovcharka is a russian word, we don't call them ovcharka. Nagazi is a proper Georgian word for that.

Not the same, but it's family

That's not a properly bred Georgian Shepherd. The actual dog they breed in the mountains of Georgia are three times larger than what you see in the video.

I remember that I've been talking to you ago,anyway maybe your right but there are even smaller Georgian shepherd dogs too. Maybe you have seen the biggest Georgian shepherd dog's where it can be seen.

These are runner dogs. The steppe type, the mountain dogs are stocky and large, so that type does not have the ability to keep up with the shepherds and the flock. The smaller leaner dogs has more stamina and endurance. I'm no expert, got this info from watching yt videos and reading about them on the internet . Imagine a huge powerlifter, he is super strong, and explosive. But does not have the agility, endurance, stamina and cardio of a fighter or crossfire athlete.

@@RickyBobby42069 Is "steppe type" a professional term in Cynology used for certain kinds of dogs? 'Cause if not, it's a very wrong and misleading term to use. Georgians have never bred anything for steppes, seeing how we don't have steppes. Not our habitat, so to speak.

Georgian Shepherds can kill a Wolf, but these dogs do not look so, maybe they are good strategists:)

They look really small on camera but they are a size of a regular pitbul. They can easly kill a wolf trust me.

Dogs also need protection especially the German Shepherd.

none of theese dogs are georgian shepherds, none pure georgian, not at all.... pure georgian shepherds are twice bigger than theese are

@@unexpunisher7759 it's little bit looks likr asian one because both of them and also most of the shepherd dogs have same ancestor (molosar dog) but actually it's georgian shepherd dog it's little bit longer than alabai little bit higher also less thicker head is slithly smaller and also wait little bit less
