Loved everything in your haul from Atelier Brocante! Two of my favorite things in the shop were the chairs out front at the beginning, the wood cutting boards and the painting of Nantes. The wood tray you bought looks fab on the buffet. Thanks for elevating my coffee enjoyment this morning by bringing me along!

Man I loved this! My husband was in the room with me while I was watching u Beth and I didnt realize he was listening to you...so when the tour guide was talking about all the old war stuff/civilization things there, my husband says, "what a minute what she say?" He starts watching with me. HaaHaaaaa! Then once the "history lesson" stopped, haahaaa, he leaves and goes back to playing with our cats. This was so cool. I wish I could meet u and go to France with you. I think we would just really click. I dont say that alot about people. I really like your show, I connect with it and with France. Probably because I took French in both high school and college, and just fell in love with France's history and Paris...also when I was in 5th grade I did a huge book report on France, it was a really big deal. We had to prepare a month in advance. Our teacher would always say, "Im telling u ahead of time, so there's no reason for anyone to get any D's or F's!!!. Period!" Ooh she use to scare me...eech! Anyway...after doing that book report I was hooked ever since about France and Paris..just hooked! And still in love now. I love anything French, especially makeup and perfume. If I were there I would go to all the makeup stores and perfume stores. Ooh! Beth! You know where u should visit! That Lavender place, I know Im saying it wrong, but its a place in France where Lavender grows and you can make perfume and stuff..but there is a place in France where there is fields and fields of Lavender. Sorry this was so long, but its not like I can call u and say this, haaahaaa, it'll be a 3min. conversation instead of this paragraph right?!! Haaahaa! Take care girl! Keep em coming. These videos are sooo much fun! My mom would love those thrift shop stores..she's the queen of thrift shop/garage sales. Au Revoir Madame Bethie!💅💄👛🌹🌹🌹

I wanted to whip out my checkbook and ask how much for the whole shop?! Not that I could actually do that, of course! That’s an absolutely glorious place! I loved all your finds and can’t really choose a favorite. The prices are unbelievably low with fun service from the most charming owner. I almost called him a “host” as he was so welcoming to you and showed you all his treasures. I have a feeling you’ll be back there soon for the painting - if you haven’t already returned to snag it! I so enjoyed looking and learning about all of the fascinating items in the brocante! Loved your tour guide too. Goodness, I saw so many treasures that I would have wanted to bring home! I loved what you got and I thought the wooden hangers were perfect with your cottage. Thanks for a fun video!

Trinidad doesn't have such a lovely brocante. People here prefer brand new things devoid of soul 😅. Great video as always. Merci for showing us around 😍🌹

Oh how much fun this was! Thank you for taking us along! I swear your tour guide looked as happy to be giving his tour as you were to get it! He appeared to be having such fun telling you stories! Too bad you didn't snatch up Napoleon's desk.🤪 Missed opportunity there Beth! 😆😂

I don’t speak french, but when you said “coquette”, I got astounded cus in Spanish (at least in Mexico) we use the word “Coqueta” who has exactly the same meaning as coquette. Im aware that there are many words we use in spanish that came from french language like “Bilé - lipstick”, “Velís - suitcase and or baggage” among many others

Hi yes both the languages are similar being romance languages it’s funny we just came back from Italy and I felt the same thing with Italian and French so many similar verbs but just had different endings I bet if we put some work into it we probably could speak all three one day with a little studying ha ha ha!

Spanish, French, Italian, Romanian, Catalan, and Portuguese are Romance languages with roots in Latin, so they have many similar words/word patterns.

I don't speak a lick of French, but I love you sharing your window shopping. I hope you'll share more food products we don't have here in the US. Jams, cheeses, ready made sauces. You showed a few last summer and I loved it. I think you should go back and buy the painting and the mirror. They were both beautiful. Plus the Dude was just delightful 😊!

What fun! Great finds too! It is so true to collect these special things along the way that make the house so welcoming. I laughed when I saw the hangers , my husband would have no problem with the plastic! Love the wood ones and when I can find them I’ve been switching them out. My favorite so far is one from an old hotel in ( the Shorham) Washington DC. Thank you for sharing , I so enjoyed it!
