X-treme 2 is exactly what I had in mind too. IMO Its more balanced and refined over the others.

i myself own JBL Xtreme, JBL Charge 3 and JBL Charge 4. i use JBL Charge 4 the most because of how decent it is for its size

Xtreme 2 is absolutely a great speaker. As a Boombox owner I do think that if you want loud and deep bass the Xtreme 2 isn't able to even compete with the Boombox. In small areas, it probably will, but outside or bigger rooms you'll need the Boombox to have loud bass.

NO it just means that the speakers have a different purpose.

Hi bro.. Please is there any portable speaker as good and quality as the LG PK3 or the tribit max sound plus WITH sd card slot? I kinda wished it had a sd card slot, FM, usb type c and multiple speaker pairing.

Love the boombox, ordered it a month ago new for €250! Had the flip4 before this one, and honestly hardly ever use the flip anymore. The bass is great, shakes the house a bit hehe and the sound is amazing! And I dont know why people say it isnt portable, I go to the park with it twice a week, and thats like a 3km walk, had no problems carrying it at all!

There that price in Canada to homie. I have two boomboxes and two extreme 2 as my back speaks. I find the boomboxes has almost much bass as subwoofer... jbl I think have done great job in giving house stereo sound.

I got two JBL Xtreme 2s and paired them via the Connect app to L & R them. Awsome!

I guess these speakers have individual volumes of their own. So you can - + from device you're using and also from the speaker buttons also. Problem is when I'm controlling the volume from phone its OK... Bt speaker's volume also get changed. I'm using Xperia XA ultra. I guess both devices have seprate volume controls am I right? Sometimes I find speaker loud at 30% and sometimes at 30% the loudness just dissappears, then I have to slide the volume bar to 50% for better bass in room. Any ideas??

I agree with you xtreme 2 wins for me also but i will not underestimate the boombox its sound is very clean compared to other speakers and the bass is very strong i have not seen a speaker who beat the boombox except xtreme 2

Yeah you make a big mistake but actually the xtreme 2 is not bad I own jbl boombox and it's the best speaker and it's more loud that xtreme 2 and the bass is better that extreme 2

Now that the flip 5 is out and it has a little foam carry case I use it the most. I also have two so sometimes is bring them places and use them in stereo.

I have the xtreme 2 and think it's the best for the size! Also, can anyone tell the name of the background music used?

I would go for charge 4 bc of portability

@@Luke_04 update I now have flip 5 and man, sounds sooo much better then flip 4!!! Just like with charge 4 when u reach a certain volume u forget the mono because it sounds so full! But seriously this is like my go to quick out the door speaker!

Well for me personally the Charge 4 was the best buy :P I'd have… space issues on my desk if I would've gotten the Xtreme. Besides, I don't mind mono sound as long as I get that superb bass, and I gotta say… Man, does THAT sound good between a wall and a laptop. Got mine for €169,- and I shit u not if it would've cost €200,- I would've still gotten it.

I have a boombox 2 and it’s sounds amazing and the bass is really good and it’s also really loud

I have two Xtreme (#1) that I link to produce stereo sound in the living room as my main music speakers and take them out on the deck when hanging out there in summer. I also have a Charge 2+ that make great sound at lower volumes, eg. in the kitchen, but the battery seems to have degraded terribly. It would have been nice if they designed them so it would be easier for users to replace batteries on their own.

Today I just bought a speaker and returned it wasn't 10 minutes because it wasn't loud enough I looked up your videos then so I can figure out which speaker should I buy

I like to use the extreme 2 because It has a strap and this is the reason why Iove it so much🔈🔉🔊

Yes the xtreme 2 is a really good sounding speaker i would choose that over a boombox

Guess xtreme 1 still is better. Cheaper now they've lanced xtreme 2. It's smaller and louder and not so heavy as 2. It was always my wonder box!

I like the boom box for the house, I can move it from room to room or in the backyard. I take the charge 3 on vacations,easy to pack in my suitcase, play it in the hotel room or by the pool. The flip I use at work, very portable and sound good for the size

Me too but honestly there’s trade offs to everything. Sure it’s not as big but you don’t need a new charging cable and the charge 4 last longer battery wise and if you ever do get the x2 it’ll work with the one you have.

Hi man. In my country the price difference is about 50 bucks (111 vs 160). I just bought the charge 4 yesterday, because I mostly going to use it indoors and because of easier portability. If you are going to us it outside a lot, definitely go for the Xtreme2. Good luck!

That depends on what you want to use them for. Boombox - If you really want a lot of bass and plan to use this for parties or stuff like that. However it gets a little annoying to carry it around because it’s heavy. Xtreme 2 - if you mainly want a speaker for personal listening or you don’t want the super loud volume but still decent sound. Idk I hope this helps in a way but I’m not a professional so it’s up to you. I personally recommend the Xtreme 2 because it has pretty good bass and it’s easier to carry around compared to the Boombox.

I got xtreme 2, charge 3, and party box 300,,,, most of the time I use xtreme since it's the golden average, and when I really need a loudness I go with party box 300. charge 3 I use as my laptop/desktop speakers, watching movies, KZread etc.

Go2 on my car. At beach is a good idea also, cause it don't disturb people around
