I use Tombow Mono Zero plastic and Faber Castell 18 71 20 and for kneadable, the LYRA. Thank you for letting me know their other erasers are also good, I'll give them a try! I do sketching and illustrations for 30 years, so I'm picky when it comes to drawing supplies! Keep up the good work and ENJOY!!@@hambot

My favourites are some old pencils from Faber Castell, the must be like 25 years old, and they are the best and smoothest to draw with. I have quite the collection of pencils, good ones from various brands, but nothing feels so natural and easy as the old Fabers. They just translate whatever I think about onto paper.

7:12 a tip for alcohol markers. You can layer the color. So lay down a layer of blue. Then with the same blue do another layer. It will deepen the saturation of the color and make it darker. Also if you use circular motions for areas instead of the back and forth motion when coloring it helps reduce streaking.

A while back I got the 25 paper pad from SMLT to make gouache paintings after seeing you use it, and it worked well for me, plus it was a reasonable price. The stone book looks gorgeous but I’ll have to get that at a different time 😅

Nice video, Ham! I also love the Art Creation sketchbook. Been using it since 2015 and I just can't get myself to splurge on Moleskines because the Talens ones are just as good (I only use oil pastels, alcohol markers, and gouache anyway so no need for thick paper). Also, have you tried the Kuelox oil pastels? They make fixatives and now they make oil pastels too. More power!

I dont think you need the moleskin Miguel! I have one but didnt mention it because i dont think it was worth the price. Art creation is so underrated! I didnt know Kuelox had oil pastels! I’ll see if i can find them here

The stone sketchbook you mentioned doesn’t list prices so I’m guessing they don’t sell online?

Can the Royal Talen Art Creations sketchbook handle watercolours at all? I know some people use it for inks but not sure about the 140 g/m paper. You said you use it for gouache which is kind of similar to watercolour.

Have u ever used a clip on mic? Which one would u recommend?

@@Aliaselias727 Shmincke is the best brand at what they do and everybody knows it. Caran D'ache Luminance are the best pencils and everybody knows it. Holbein pencils are kinda weird, and everybody knows it. But you.
