Been Following Kevin and his wife for years. So consistent, and always positive, yeah he blabs a lot, (tennis instructors get paid by the word!) but video production is not easy. 3 years with a ball machine for me, and adding a partner so you can go flat out for an hour is the difference in using all of Kevin's great tips on smooth strokes. There are dozens of drills to create on your own depending on how wild you feel that day. Just be aware all ball machines are finicky, they wear out their specific balls fast but you will get your monies worth.

Great video. Stop using the ball machine as a fun whack, and start working hard, and focusing on improvement by holding yourself to account.

It is always funny to turn one of the ball machines settings super high, like super high height, speed, topspin, backspin, side spin, or a mixture of them

Not enough people are using ball machines to practice! Even if you have great players to train with, once a week machine practice will really help too!

Hi, @totaltennisdomination. Please, make a video about the tennis balls. How often to buy new balls, how to make then to last, what to search in a tennis buy before buying and pressurization machines in used tennis balls. Back here in Brazil, tennis balls are really expensive!

Hey Kevin, great video. You briefly mentioned split step. Could you say a little more about that? How do you know when to split step when using a machine? I struggle with visual timing because I would normally watch the opponent to know when to jump. With the machine, the "opponent" is invisible. My Proton does have a flashing light, but it is not as realistic as a human. Thoughts?

if u have a ball machine , u want to go full rip city on the ball. thats the only way you will know if your hitting it right. if you just tap the ball back, your wasting your time .
