The "Gnarly Trees with Canopies" from Printable Scenery are very similar.

I made swamp trees in a combination using what looked like dead trees and a root pack and super glued them together. I did the same flat black with 3 tone grays. I picked up stumps and then found what looked like beaver dens. As usual it was a project that just grew on its own. Of corse I printed about 20 actual feet of docks for a swamp village table. It's funny I never seem to play but always make a boat load of terrain to play. Oh did you ever see that frost grave video of the Ice glacier caves I left in the comment section? Any way love your wok Buddy!!!

They look so good on the table. And minis can move or be placed underneath them.

@@thetabletopengineerplays yup, I was pretty much sold on 'em after you finished painting them and picked them up from Rocket Pig Minis. Thanks Jim!

Thanks for the video, planning to pick these up and give them a try! I may have missed it in the video, and if so I apologize. Are these resin or FDM prints? Also, which resin/filament did you use?

When I was painting miniatures for show instead of gaming, I would do final light dry brush with yellow on the grass bases. This gave the grass a hint of sunlight. Perhaps that’s why the trees look better with the yellow dry brush.
