In the US you would pay $300.00 for that grocery haul. It is getting ridiculous here! I paid $30 for one average-size steak!

Great to have you back...I also love a grosery haul. I live in Germany and also Shop at Aldi.....but to tell you the truth the uk Aldi seems to have so much more interesting products. Such as Aldi "candels"and a wide range of meats and so on....which is really a shame....but its still lovely to see and get Inspiration from you for meals. It would be great if you could "take"us with you the next time you food shop. Stay happy and healthy 😊🍀👍💕

Sarah, if you go to Morrisons online they do a product in frozen section ‘Taj crushed garlic’. It costs £1 and you get lots of cubed garlic that’s equivalent to 4 cloves per cube! I throw into microwave for 30 seconds or straight into stir fry etc. It tastes far better than the garlic paste and has nothing else added. I used to buy fresh but it always sprouted 😂 😊

We’re a family of 7 including a 3 month old baby and we spend £150- £170 a week for 8 dinners, 7 breakfasts & 7 lunches aswell as snacks . I always choose 8 dinners because I have 2 Sen children and if they don’t want what everyone else is having then they have an option even if it is just noodles & meatballs .. I would say a good £20 is on fruit alone x

In the U.S., we usually spend around $200 a week on groceries for a family of three. Do you have a Costco near you? It seems that may be helpful for your family. They have bigger sizes of produce packages that are excellent quality and last a long time!

Juicing is a bit old hat now. It spikes the blood sugar as although fruit contains natural sugars its usually released through chewing and digestion once eaten. Plus in juicing you are removing the fibre you need in your diet. It would be cheaper and healthier to just eat 5 portions of fruit and veg a day
