Absolutely love your setup. I currently have a Portland pudgy dinghy but on Friday I'm trading it for a rigid bottom zodiac and I would love to have it set up like this

Nice set up. I was interested in the shelving set up in the front for your fish finder/ radios. How do you stop it from moving, is it secured at all ?

Cb radio and fish finder are screwed to the shelving and I secured the shelving with tie down straps. I used a cam fairlead by Harken which I bought from west marine. I secured it to the floor with epoxy cause my floor isn’t thick enough to screw in.

Aloha, I ordered outriggers on E bay seller is rryahtserviceinc46937. I used a hole saw to cut into seat. Measure and make sure you’re not too close to the tubes. You can buy plastic cleat at West Marine to tie down outrigger line.

Hey Richard! Awesome setup. I have the F-RIB 360 and was wondering if you fold up your boat or trailer it to the water? I fold mine, but it is quite heavy on your own to carry to setup.

Daryl James Aloha Daryl, I use the launch wheels on my f-rib 330 I use 2 by 12 planks for ramps to load onto the back of my truck.

@@NoLimitsFishing Thanks for the help Richard. I also appear to have the same Garmin fish finder. Did you end up mounting the transducer on the transom? I couldn't see any cable going over the transom. I am very interested to see a full video of your setup from packing and launching to heading home. Looking for any tips that can make my life easier. Many thanks! BTW going out on your own is pretty gutsy when you catch such powerful fish!

Daryl James I installed it but had no real use for it, since I don’t bottom fish. West Marine sells a wood piece that you apply with epoxy so you don’t have to drill through your transom. I’ll try and get a video on how I load and unload. A trailer would be a good option as well I’ve been thinking about it myself.

Are you launching with a trailer? If youre launching from the back of your truck how heavy is this set up?

Kale Kwon I use launch wheels, not a trailer. The approximate weight of my entire setup is 320 pounds.

Thanks for the video. Curious: why haven't f-ribs become more popular in the US? They seem like a no-brainer dinghy solution.

Cost could be one reason $3750 for the f-rib 330 about a 1000 for shipping to Hawaii also lack of advertising

Isaiah Kaaekuahiwi research before you buy, I would recommend a hard bottom boat versus inflatable bottom. Inflatable bottom has a lot of drag. And with the rods buy bent butt rods it’s higher off the tubes. Straight butt rods you have to buy extensions so handle can clear the tubes. And I would recommend Tigress pivoting rod holders. Expensive but worth it.
