Yeah I agree. The way you display these figures really adds to it. Proper lighting, display cases, shelves etc are very important in my opinion. My ideal display is detolfs with one figure per shelf but realistically this isn't really do-able long term. Unless I'd rotate figures but that's not something I want to resort to. If moducases get to a fast turnaround I will most likely consider it, because you're 100% right, the diorama bases man . Your collection room is really awesome and I am excited to see it expand with figures. Peace out! Letsgooooo!

I just got my cases December 6th, after waiting 11 months and 2 weeks. It’s definitely not fixed yet. They are very nice, but waiting for a year with my entire collection in boxes was no bueno for me.

Looking good that mate!! I like the height you get with these. Most of my figures are pretty much museum pose so I like the cube partitioning I get with the detolfs, but your cases look fantastic for more dynamic poses incorporating multiple figures in a large scene. Definitely considering Moducases. I even have planned several configurations. Beyond the overall budget that it would involve, it's primarily the delays that keep me form pulling the trigger. Not too comfortable shelling out $3000+ a year or so in advance.

Great video Riley. I work in a shop that builds custom products for a living. I cant speak to the prices because the cost of raw materials has gone up across the board but, with all respect to Bryan/Moduspace, I cannot understand the lengthy lead times. I build much more intricate things with a small crew in a matter of weeks. And we do big sales numbers yearly. Their orders must be through the roof to require such a long delivery date. But even so, a production line factory should be able to produce hundreds a week. But Im glad you are enjoying yours and to any collectors who have a tighter budget, consider diy. Pop Culture Living Room has some creative and affordable alternatives to offer.

Amazing comment, especially on the custom side of things. I’m not really a handy guy so I didn’t want to risk me breaking anything lol so I went with the safer option 😆 but the best cost effective go that route. I myself wondered the wait times. My biggest guess would be mass ordering from a lot of collectors and smaller warehouses. I think as time goes on more space is being taken up in people’s collections so they are considering these cases, appreciate you watching

Thank you! So you can remove any clear panels you want. You’re installing them from the beginning and you can choose which ones you do or don’t want! That’s also what’s nice about these. You really have the option to plan out your display 👍

Should the back panel holes (to channel the LED wiring to outside power) be on the bottom or top? I was confused because I see that you elected to do bottom or top depending on the case.

Great question, these are actually meant to channel from the bottom, this is the best way to hide them I believe. The issue is with one of the cases (which has the anakin on stap) couldn’t fit the opposite way. I wasn’t sure why but that was why I did it from top. I guess you can do either or but bottom is what it’s meant for 👍 thanks for watching

I initially was gonna just stick with Detolfs, because they look amazing with 1figure per shelf...2 if you do it just right. But I have vehicles coming now. I just started building an X-Men team, that won't look good all crammed into a Detolf shelf. I plan to have the Bad Batch...they need room. I just got an email back from one of the guys over at Moduspace and the setup I'm going with would take around 6 months to arrive. It's a wait...and it's twice the cost of building a setup with 3 Detolfs on a Besta frame and building out my own garage rack for the larger things. But it'll take up much less space, it'll look better, and it'll be better for preserving the figures from dust. I only just started collecting last April and only have 7 figures currently. But I have about 10 more expected to arrive this year...along with the ol' Battinsonmobile. So when the Moducases get here, they'll have plenty to fill them out for starting. And then my display will be mostly future proof as well. Definitely worth the cost and the wait. Of course...the cost has had me reevaluating my figure choices and kinda made me actually take the time to make tiers finally. That's HARD. Making a tier list is like staring into your soul and trying to rank the best and worst of yourself. I've found a lot of hard truths over the past couple of days...

I agree with you bro. The wait time is a pain but I was in the same boat. Vehicles and taller items being displayed made me have to look into something other then detolfs. They are easy to dissemble, since they’re all modular you can just remove the pins that hold it all together, and unscrew as needed, it will be a little annoying but the cases aren’t that heavy when separated. Thanks for watching!

So glass is going to make it clearer and cleaner in the case, acrylic will make reflections more noticeable and dusty on the outside since it’s static which the Moducases do have. You can easily wipe it off with acrylic cleaner but viewing wise, glass is better which detolfs have

Correct! Fairly easy setup, they have higher risers as well I believe. They just hook manually with the first case and you join them within the rail system. Screw them in and you’re set 🤘 thanks for watching!

I wait that long for figures so the wait time isn't a deal breaker for me. The price is what gets me, the size of my collection is already huge and continues to grow. I can't afford 15 grand in display cases and can't bring myself to break it up into smaller purchases. Maybe if they get the wait time down to 3 months i could live with breaking it down

The lead time is totally unnacceptable from a business pov. For example, I'm willing to drop 3k right now for my next display solution, and in no way I would accept to wait that long for whatever I'll be ending up buying.
