hey can u plz help, how do i book my course? i took the level test in july and now i don't remember my result like wht was my level of german acc. to themi.e. which course i need to book. i have done my b1 level from du . m new to the max muller. now i am allowed to book every course with the discount of 1000 rs fees. m stuck wht do i do ? i can't find my results too there?

You can try logging in (meingoethe.de) If you are a registered student there you can see your results online. If not then email the examination department about the same.

They have introduced some self placed online course priced at 4.5k..will it worth for A1 level and can you please explain in detail of course..like how the course has been designed..like..it will be in english followed by german translation..or fully german?

It's only in Goethe Institute Kolkata. And I am able to give you information only of GI Mumbai.

Yes! It is a very interactive platform even if it's virtual. Go ahead. Just that make time for the language and you will be good.

Hello! So if you are enrolling for a Superintensive course, make sure you have enough time to invest in the language. Because it's not like you attend 5hrs a day and then you are done for the day. You have to work extra after the class atleast for an hour. It can be hectic someday, but you learn better as you invest most of your time in it. All the best!

@@InTheLifeOfJB Ahh okay that makes sense. Can I ask a question about that course by the way? If I want to go for A2 course after taking the A1 course, do I need an A1 certificate to apply? or is it decided solely on the Placement test they give you? thanks for the quick reply!

Placement test is enough! I have heard the placement test contains all the grammer topics from A1 to C2 , therefore is difficult to clear. But then you can give it a try as it is free of cost!

Superintensive course - 2.5 months Weekday evening course- 4.5 months. Weekend course- 4.5 months. Please check the official website. In case they have made any changes

If you want to start learning don't think much all you need to do is register yourself for the Level A course and stick to it, keep practicing daily. You don't need any prior knowledge.

Superintensive is the fastest which takes around 2 months

You would get a certificate stating that you have attended that particular level. But for that certificate also you have to make sure you attend all the lectures and do all the assignments. I think the minimum requirement is that you attend and complete 75% of the course

There are 3 options in Goethe Institute Mumbai. Superintensive takes 2 months Evening batches takes 4 months And Weekend batches takes 4.5 months

It's one on one lecture. If it is blended learning then 50% learning with teacher and 50% online on their virtual platform. After B1 all lectures are Online that means total duration of class with the teacher.

Can a child learn german from Goethe institute in online mode only sat-sun.....or only regular mode is available

They have different times for different Goethe branches overall in India. And they keep on changing the schedules or adding new schedules. It's better to check their website for authentic information.

They don't usually ask for a previous level certificate. You can directly enroll in the course.

No they do not have such classes. Atleast in Goethe Mumbai.

Hello. I would suggest in the beginning try finding a personal teacher which can be cheaper and flexible after 2 levels you can go for a proper class where you can study in groups. Try searching Facebook you’ll find something cheaper.
