Thanks for the video, I am a slower learner and am getting read to take my B1 exam soon and definately need to get better at spoken German. I can read and listen fine, and the writing is not too bad...but I do lack the confidence in my spoken German lol

It’s quite hard to remember but I too struggle with remembering articles for every object. I’m still learning. But for some words, for example, the words ending with „er“ have „der“ as the article. We can learn like that.

Hallo, danke schön. Ich habe zunächst selbst online grundlegende Deutschkenntnisse (z. B. Zahlen, Alphabete) gelernt und anschließend einen dreimonatigen Kurs von A2 bis B1 belegt.

How much time would it take for an average indian with a good english speaking, writing and listening skills to learn German?

Good question! When you mean to learn German, we have German level till C2 which will take atleast 4-5 years to get that fluency and achieve that level. For B1/B2 - the average time is 2 to 3 years and it totally depends on the person. I have heard that some people have learnt German very fast and some take years time to speak even basic level German.

I joined an intensive course a month before leaving India and then stopped attending it in a couple of weeks as it was too fast for me to follow. I started again from A1 after moving to Germany.

@@justlisten566 you’re in 12th grade but you’re only 15 years old? I just saw this on the internet but I don’t have any idea about this. “A minimum age of 16 years is recommended to take the Goethe-Zertifikat C1 exam” You can inquire this with Goethe institute there.

For blue card holders(skilled workers), We can get PR - with B1 German certificate in 21 months. With A2(German basic knowledge) in 33 months Be aware, that only those months are counted in which you lived in Germany, you held employment, and you contributed to the statutory pension insurance.

Yes, it’s a public school that’s recommended by the government. It was an integration course - A2&B1 and it costed totally 600 euros. But there is another test- “Leben in Deutschland”. (one needs to pass this test “Life in Germany” to get a German citizenship) If you pass the integration course which I mentioned above and also the life in Germany, then the public school will give you back half of the money i.e 300 Euros.

Yes, but not when someone spoke so fast(obviously). I was able to understand the language when someone spoke slowly. 😊
