Fair play to you Hamza, love the videos and the fact you’re sharing both your knowledge and lessons you’re learning yourself helping many folks to get under the bonnet and car and save themselves a lot of rip off garage/ dealership labour prices! Nobody can ever fault you for that and your wide and varied content and cars covers all bases! Stick with the Volvo and turn it back into the rocket 🚀 Swedish 🇸🇪 antique dealer, huge grandfather clock 🕰 and wardrobe carrying built like a tank machine Volvo made it to be! I’ll also say you’re very brave tackling an ex emergency services car because most of the mechanics especially the ones that work for the police will tell you stay clear as they’re abused by more hands than any crew of Theiving joyriders could ever wish for and although they’re serviced regularly that’s usually in the quickest way possible just to get them back on the road! So hats off to you for taking on the project

Who doesn't like a 5 cylinder on full throttle! Definitely would enjoy seeing more of this old car with some big power upgrades perhaps?

Glad to see a car that we can all afford... also Sticky actuators can cause it to feel like its not performing 100%

This was great. There is so much carefree fun to be had from a car you don't care about it's genuinely liberating👌🏻Was shocked at the price for the PCV box from Volvo 😳 I did chuckle at the upgraded vinyl steering wheel cover 😂😂😂

I've had a few, the last one I ended up breaking and got £900 for the engine and gearbox. Wish I kept it sometimes as they're rare now mate. Dump money into it deffo! It'll be the fastest tip runner about 🤣 Still know a few lads who take T5s to the Nurburgring.

Hell yeah. I did the last pcv in my XC70 a few months ago. Very annoying to get to, harder to put back together. Straight piped 5 cil Volvo’s are hilarious. It’s funny. At stop lights, I’ll kind of peel out because of the fwd, people think I’m trying to race. Then I end up beating them if I really try. These cars are such sleepers. And they have lots of room for storage, especially if you have a roof rack/mount. RIP to the station wagons! I know parts can be expensive, but don’t trash it! Big ups from Texas! I’ll be watching........

I feel like the white color by itself can look better with some decorations! It used to have the police decals and markings, but it would be neat to make it look a bit like a police car again, obviously not too much because it isn't and that would be a bit illegal.

I didn't know you had this Volvo T5, but I think it's a very practical, good looking daily driver with a great sounding exhaust! It makes a change from your more expensive, performance oriented cars, but this video was enjoyable nonetheless & I look forward to seeing more improvements/upgrade videos on this car in future. 👍

I’ve got a 56 plate T5. It’s in great nick generally, 165,000 miles. I absolutely love it, it’s so much fun and sounds fantastic. Come down Cardiff and we’ll take em for a spin.

Bought one of these last year , exactly the same car 2007 white ex Northumbria police traffic car ,great performance and drive , my son liked it that much he has got one now aswell, would recommend to anyone thinking of buying one , becoming quite rare now though.

Liking this Volvo m8 had the s60 ex police 350 bhp loved driving it I’m a Volvo fan as I was bought with most of my family being Volvo owners. Would like to see this get some tlc that it needs

Finally a Hamza car that has something in common with my current car. Sold my MK7.5 R to fund other projects, so my current car is a Mondeo XR5 Turbo (Australia). Mine has a ridiculously loud 4” exhaust that’s only fun when you’re in the mood for a hoon.

I feel this lol my S60 D5 has a million bits they need sorting. Hope he has VIDA it is 100x better than why generic OBD tool. Gave me codes they wouldn’t even appear over the generic adapter

Try the waste gate actuator, because you already did the boost control solenoid. Then injectors and sparks. The wast gates are about 30 pounds for these.

when i hear that straight pipe after the muffler fell off it sounds so much like an Audi Quatro S1 just think Walter Röhl and his short wheelbase S1.. :D

You should remove and test the vvt solenoids, they seize quite easily and often don't throw a code. Just make sure you have replacement gaskets if you do this. This would definitely hamper performance. I had a box of used ones and about 2 out of the 15 actually operated correctly when voltage was applied across them
