My everyday life in May | Ep. 53

During some beautiful days in May I just filmed a lot and let the camera be on whatever I was doing. Didn't have so much to say but sometimes that is not needed. I thought you might enjoy hanging around with me and Nanook in our daily life. Working in my studio, being out in nature, tapping birch sap, visiting my grand-uncle Tage and just enjoying the very first days of spring.
May is one of the most amazing times of the year I think. Everything just feel so new and as the snow melts away each day the spring blooms out and makes the air smell like sweet birch leafs. I love this time so, soooo much!
Thank you so much for watching!! I hope you liked the video!
Take care everyone! Sending you TONS of love! ♥

Hello Jonna, like your take on the different seasons and stating you dont have much energy in winter. A young woman giving a senior woman, myself good advice. I live in sunny Queensland Australia and we had a cold winter, sometimes stuck inside for weeks on end cause of cold wind, I was complaining of lack of energy. I can see a viking in you and like it as I have viking too way back. Love your romps in the wilderness. Stay well and thanks for posting.

You need to realise that she is only human and has her own private spaces. After all the effort she puts for us, we can at least not ask her about her personal life. That is always for her to tell, and not our’s to ask. I also feel like telling Jonna that she shall never have to let our expectations burden her. After everything you do, it might feel unfair to do less, but YOUR mental health and happy state of mind shall always be a priority. You have already done so much for us, you shouldn’t ever feel bad for taking rest. Please don’t keep forcing yourself if you feel like it’s draining you. We LOVE YOU much much more than we need you, and for that, we will be here :)

I live in Greece, a sunny country in the Mediterranean. I can't imagine how life can be with such long winters without the sun. Opening the window every day and the warm sunlight entering your room is the only thing I know. The winters are mild and there are very few really cloudy days. I'd like to live in a country like this to see if I could stand it. Very curious about this climate

My wife passed away last March after 56 beautiful years together. The first week was terribly difficult. Afterwards, the temperature allowed me to start my day with a long walk at sunrise. Of all the remedies for loneliness and sadness bordering on distress, it is still a beautiful sunrise with a few banks of mist on the ground that consoles and reassures. Losing the person who matters most in a period of confinement when we can not meet anyone to share our feelings is panicking but the great outdoors to start the day and beautiful scenery remains the most revitalizing balm. I really like your videos showing nature from its most beautiful angles because it comforts me. Thank you. Merci.

I was led to your channel, and not only was I awestruck by how beautiful the content is, it was your sense of life, and the sense of the world, the people in your world, and the places and spirits that you share with us, that broke the spell. Watching your content is to be so confronted with everything beautiful and that's still right with the world, that nothing that stands in the way of beauty, or truth, or being in love with the world, is powerless to oppose it. Thank you, for breaking one man out of an invisible prison, and for helping him see again. My new camera will be here in a couple of days, and i will be on the road soon after, looking to see where the magic has been waiting for me. The way you approach the worlds a miracle, and it is hope. Another soul has made it through the storm, and you were essential to that. We are all so deeply affected to the better by you.

I feel like many times in this video, Nanook was like, "mama, slow down. Take a moment." So many people are commenting on the shift in your energies and I think he senses it more than anyone! It could just be the change in seasons, you could be going through some hard shadow work, or it could be something more. Regardless, I hope you're taking lots of those moments to slow down and breathe. We love you as well and are sending tons of positive vibes your way!

I believe our pets are constantly nudging us to be in the present moment. That's where we can meet them, because they are always here and now. We are just busy with doing our things 99% of the time, if not physically then mentally we are somewhere, in the past or in the future. How blessed we are to have animals here reminding us of the beauty of the Now moment.

One of many things I learned from all my years living in Norway, Scandinavians really know what it means to live. And society is geared to help them have the best life possible. @@ZindraShamaniaNo, sorry. What they consider a rat race is nothing, not even close to the USA. Norway: around seven weeks paid vacation per year, a week off to ski at Easter, a lump sum for each child born along with a monthly stipend for each afterwards (double amount if divorced), one cannot lose one's job due to illness, paid sick leave-not accumulated sick days, free dental for kids up to age 16 including braces, if special equipment is needed for your job (special glasses, chairs etc), they are gotten for you free of charge, and the list of things that make life so much easier is almost endless. They do not work three jobs at minimum wage, countless hours per week and such. In fact, in Denmark an acquaintance was forced to take vacation because her company didn't want her getting sick from too many hours working! I could go on, but the point is, when it comes to quality of life, Scandinavia has the USA beat by a landslide. I know. I lived there for years. The way you captured Nanook running free and experiencing pure happiness is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen! 🥰💗 I actually cried during that part because I love animals so much and I wish every single creature could experience that kind of freedom, joy, and love! I love how animals remind us to truly live in the present moment. Thank you for sharing these precious moments with us. I hope you know that your incredible artistry is touching the hearts of so many people all over the world! From one free spirit to another, I am sending you lots of love and positive energy! 🌟💗💜💕

Dearest Jonna, From the bottom of my heart I thank you for this, and all, of your video's. I live with 24/7 chronic pain. Your video's help me go somewhere else in my mind and focus on the beauty that you bring through your video's. I've longed to come to Sweden, land of my Ancestors. But now that dream is gone, due to my health. So I connect to this beautiful land thru you, dear one ! Much love to you ,Nanook and Johan !!!

I'm so overwhelmed that you can make the sound of that bird wich is also so beautiful when the children of Bullerby search for the spirit of the water. And yes Nanook is the cutest. The footage of him is really beautiful and Nanook loves you, scene explaining the camera, I wouldn't have paid any mind if you continued talking with Nanook sitting in front the camera!👍😍👋

@@maggie8586 Well, it's a funny thing you know? I know that the majority, if not the totality of the people commenting on her videos are super well intentioned, which is odd and marvelous, given the fact that so many ppl out there vent their mysery through KZread comments. This is a very nice community. Anyways, I totally get the concern/curiosity about what exactly she is going through and we could speculate all day long. I just think she is so good at just reflecting her true self that people immediately connect with that and see her as a real friend. The truth is, as kind as she might be, as open as she has been, not a lot of people here know her personally. For almost everyone, she is a stranger and the kind writers of thoughtful comments are strangers for her as well. She has not revealed what she is facing for reasons unbeknownst to the followers but very respectable. I agree with you, but I guess it might be a little uncomfortable for anyone to have people theorizing about why they are struggling. And trust me, I think it comes with the territory when you share private aspects of your life, ppl will speculate about them. I just think maybe she has not openly mentioned anything cause it's hard for her and maybe reading this might add to the difficulty. Anyways, thanks for your insight, very appreciated, Maggie.
