Brian love your videos! I also have the 30M. Instead of going to another speaker when +3 isn't enough, have you ever tried running a second powered speaker on a stand from the aux out? I have used a QSC K8.2 and it makes an incredible difference! Even my battery powered Bose S1 Pro is great for side fills or a little extra coverage. I love the fact from the App you can mute/adjust the volume independently from the main output. I think this feature and the App itself puts this new EV line in another league from the other portable arrays in this class.

I have a question. I bought it for a solo act. I'm running a guitar and mic in this, each has their own input gain what would be the point of this if you're using the main volume and the guitar itself can be turned down via the guitar knob?

If I add an elx200 sub and hide it under the table behind the facade (adj event table) will it effect sound quality?

Hey ! If I want to use for a duo a pare of evolves 30 m ( 2 of them ) and I’m gonna use only one mixer on one of the evolves, how to connect to connect both of them to get a stereo sound ? Thanks

Solo le mandas señal desde la salida main out a cualquier canal del 2⁰ evolve de preferencia al 5-6 o 7-8 ...para musica en vivo no aplica el modo estereo y no se necesita Modo estereo Para reproducir musica grabada si te da la opción de mandar la señal en estéreo..saludos

Mogami XLR the best but pricey.

In the case that your speakers are not limiting yet, is there a reason to pay attention to not overload the speaker and always keeping that at 0 db?

Yeah if you are running a "unity" input signal from your source (DJ Mixer) of max 0db & your speaker's main & input levels are set at a volume of 0db, you should have nothing to worry about.

briansredd ok thanks, but I don’t understand why should I pay so much attention to 0 db. For example, if I turn up my speaker over 0 dB until the limiter activates, will this be a problem if I don’t hear distortion?

0db typically will give you the loudest clean output without distortion

Hey quick question, what do you gain by disabling the mixer and putting it in basic mode?

The quick answer is the menu options get shorter, which probably makes it a lot easier to get started using it as a typical single input DJ PA speaker. In Mixer Mode, you start dealing with a lot more options along with 4 mono & 2 stereo channels. I was able to get what I feel is really good sound just by using basic settings, so that's what I'm showing in my set up video
