My Entire Paper Model Collection
Фильм және анимация
I first attempted to make my own paper toys when I was 10 years old. And after 10 years + of experience this is my entire paper model collection, well, the ones I haven't thrown away out of frustration at least. And you can see that all the great ideas and creativity that have gone into my models weren't always that great. It was a long process to discover the techniques I commonly use today in my craft. I also tried something different with the intro in this video, I had fun making it! Thanks for reading this if you did :D

This is amazing- i've always thought of "paper figures" as origami but you've taken this to a whole new level! You're really a very bright person, i wish i was this productive as a kid 😅

3:43 *OH THE GOOD OLD BIONICLE!! I still have mines in a box...*
I made my First paper model in one week he is a character of my comic book and can stand (a little bit) so thank you (i am brazilian and my english is basic
I've binged this channel and watched so many videos over and over to just get down how to making these things. And the best part is I have a collection of old models I did which were typical minecraft look alikes but with more joins then just moving back and forth. Tho Im happy to see his progress and that Im not alone on a hard journey of making things look amazing!
My goodness this is just mind-blowing stuff. I've thought about such paper models often since I was a kid but never thought anyone could make them with such finesse!
Who else had to pause this and make coffee after watching the intro? Great work love these creations :) I have been making 2d hand drawn puppets but these are next dimension!!!
Hopefully one day you will be widely recognized or you can say famous. And in that time this box of fails will be worth massive amounts of cash to the community who follows and supports your work. Who knows this box may be in a museum exhibiting your road to finding tour creative genius . Truly awesome work sir.
I've seen this video a couple of times now, I like seeing other people's thought process through their art and seeing how it developed. Really cool video!
so inspiring! keep up your work man!
The first 40 seconds were of u making coffee, and I'm not mad 😂
My favorite is all of them great work
Very glad I watch your video. Made me feel very happy and can't wait to start uploading my own art style. Great style keep going mate!

I found your channel a few days ago and I just can't get over it HOW AMAZING your work is... I did some papercraft models years ago but the joints are a whole new level (and the hand colouring is totally cool too). I will watch all your videos now and maybe I'll try to do something on my own...
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I am working with getting my novel into a graphic style & your techniques have been excelling it into reality!! It will take some time, but your 3D techniques r bringing everything into reality!! Thank u!! Also- it's so inspiring how u encourage those of us that r creative 2 b positive !! It's great u r hanging on 2 the 'failed' prototypes- (I'm gaining a small collection now😉) Your words of not waiting around 4 it 2 b created, but, do what u can w/ what you've got, is very wise!! Thank u!!!!

Thnakyou, thankyou, thank you for this comment! stuff like this really motivates me, I believe in you
PaperPatriot: "This is Dio..." Me: "😶😤 DIIIIIIIIIIIOOOOOO!!!" Loved the intro and outro scenes in the video especially the outro. Framing the "10 years" with the models and placing the "and counting" down with your hand was a genius bit. It gave a visual of your philisophy with regards to evolving while never forgetting your steps of progress. Humility and ingenuity breathes greatness! Carry those qualities into everything you do! Your subcribers and I are just as happy to be along for the ride 😎 PS- Watching your video reminds me of watching David Attenborough narrating Animal documentaries 😂

This is amazing! I think more people need to see this to realize that putting YEARS into something really makes it worth wile. Hope you keep doing what you do and that it leads you to great places.:)
That was really cool. I never thought that possible or even thought of paper and using a system to create 3d figures. This is proof of what a person who is strongly driven can do out of nothing.
Your entire paper model collection is so cool😎
First off, you are the first person to make it to my Favourite videos with TWO videos (I'm sure I'll find more). Second, what you said at the end of the video inspired me so much to continue the thing I was doing. YOU ARE RIGHT! I may not be best at what I do, but If I want to improve I must continue working hard at it and NEVER give up. I know it sounds corny and cliche, but you put it into words that didn't sound same-y and it not only inspired me, but also made me want to continue, knowing that it might not be the best. This was an issue I strugled with. I wanted it to be the best and still do, but If I give up simply because it's not good enough, then it isn't worth finishing? Your videos are more than meets the eye! You not only make good tutorial videos (although kinda confusing at times), but the best part is the way you inspire creativity in others, using yourelf and your work. Thank you!

Thanks a lot for this comment. I really want people to know that they can do anything they want to the level I make paper models but sometimes I wonder if it's too preachy or corny to say so, I'm glad I did in this one. (yeah I know my tutorials are a bit all over the place, learning as I go)
Awesome video!
