That old Dana acoustic is the oldest in his collection. It originally belonged to his uncle Roger, who died of muscular dystrophy many years ago and was inherited to Stevie!

When you said your uncle passed away young because of muscular dystrophy that hit me. My brother and I both have Becker's MD and one of my cousins has Duchenne MD, I relate to this so much. Although I'm not going to let it stop me from being a musician. Thanks for sharing that story, Steve. Sometimes it makes you feel better to know other people out there understand what your going through.

He should string that guitar and keep it in playing order, keep it clean. Like his uncle would if he could. I do some basic Luther’s work on the side, and that is a common request. I’ve been handed many old guitars they want restored to playing order, while keeping the looks the same. Not difficult, but worth it to keep these old memories alive.

Been loving your videos. Even the teenagers have been watching with me. My son who is a13year old cello player has been saving up for his first guitar and this weekend we are taking him to the guitar store for it. They also would love more of the songs translated videos they are fun.

As Clint Eastwood said in "The Good, the bad and the ugly" - "every gun makes its tune." Indeed, each and every one has a distinct sound. That's a sign of a good ear, my friend. I'm not even a guitarist and I listen for things like that myself. Cool vid - as always. Nice ass collection, to say the least! Hey SteveTerreberry I have muscular dystrophy as well as your uncle you were talking about and I’m sorry he passed when he did, I’m 21 I used to play guitar heavily about 3 years ago and I always played sweep picking and a lot of djent stuff because of you and your videos until I couldn’t play guitar anymore and I still have a lot to do with music now, I’m actually a music producer/ rapper now, you’re one of my inspirations that got me to keep playing over the years and kept me going with music and I make sure I watch every single video you post! @@SteveTerreberry music is great! And family is too! My grandpa gave me his hornet he played in WWII. After his death in 1992 my grandma gave me his 1957 Gibson Les Paul custom black beauty. Didn't even know he played guitar and has that baby. I worship it!

I play guitar and bass. When I play bass I go both ways....certain things I play are just kinda Impossible for me to play finger style(like certain Slipknot songs etc). But the whole finger style is what I loved so much about the bass when I first picked one up and I found it slightly addictive. Sometimes it just doesn't feel right to dare use a pick lol
