I got admission in IIT kharagpur this year.Our first semester is going to be held online due to covid and I was very happy that I dont have to leave home, but after watching this vlog I desperately want to go college and enjoy college life 😊

The definition of good and bad college is applicable only on their academic excellence, not the excellence at having fun at the college . Students take admission in all types of colleges based on their performance in entrance test. And most of them figure their way out to enjoy college life regardless of how low their college is rated in the country. Regarding students not having any kind of college life, it’s all their fault if they don’t get to live their life. Try to breakthrough all the stereotypical expectations that you have with your college. You got into the college and it’s the only time in your entire life to enjoy and build great memories with your friends without worrying about competition or family or other such chores of life. Remember there are people who can’t even afford to get into college. You should consider yourself very lucky to get into college. Work hard and play harder and make your way out.

Now my admission is in a college for a normal degree but they don't teach there so I'm dependent on coaching. So I have no college life, no friends, no fun that's why I'm here talking to random people online and there are thousands like me. You are lucky if you got chance to live that "college life". @@S-tx2lk : Bro, seems like you really know nothing how this actually works. And I’m way senior to you to know the truth and have much more experience as well. Certainly, you don’t know where I’m coming from. I graduated from an average engineering college as well back in 2013. I (and my entire batch) didn’t even get to celebrate the convocation which is a dream for all the graduates because my college couldn’t arrange that. We took our degree so unceremoniously that no student should deserve. But I worked my ass off to pursue MBA in US and get a job there as well at a well known firm - Tesla motors. The college topper of my class worked his ass off to clear GATE and is working with PGCIL which is one of Navratna companies in India and is the CTU. And yes, we all get to enjoy our college life regardless of our college being an average one. So you need to stop being a martyr. We all have been through what you pointed out there. When you were selected for good college, you could have taken student loan that doesn’t need to be payed as long as you are pursuing the degree. And you are also given an extra one year to get a job after college before the EMI starts. You could have also opted for scholarships. So I don’t see any valid financial reasons as to why you couldn’t take admission in good college. Regarding you not having a life at college, bro I’m sorry but only you could help yourself here. If you keep dwelling on getting admitted at an average college and not get on with your life, nothing’s going to work in favour of you. You need to move on and get on with what you have. My friends and I didn’t get to enjoy our college days just like that. We lived our college life and were happy with what we had. As I said, work hard and play harder to get yourself enjoy the life.

Most of the students join engineering due to family pressure. During college they realize that engineering is not their cup of tea. Many of them do management and start selling soap and coffee (for multinationals) where they get paid well, but the job has nothing to do with engineering.

Literally feeling proud to say that my home is near then iit kgp
Seriously jahan apne apni schooling, ya college life spent ki ho woh jahagh bahut zada special hoti. Main to bahut emotional ho jata apne school ki yaad kar k. That days was some really priceless days, us samay yeh ehsaas nahi hota, but ab hota hai. IIT Kharagpur Campus is so beautiful yaar.
Feeling nostalgic although being in 4th year because everything you said is so relatable to every KGPian!! Eagerly waiting for the Azad Hall Vlog....(Still can't over with the extremely happy and unbelievable moments spent with you all)
Said the best thing throughout the vlog but one thing touched me at 16:23-"Yaha rehne ka maza waise nahi hai, Yaha rehne ka maza un dosto ke saath hai jinke saath vo 4 saal bitaya".
