Steve, here is a thought for you to consider. I know that AMSOIL products are expensive as I have been a dealer in the past and have used their products since 1980 and they do have excellent products. Buy a couple of their oil filters and keep them around the shop. They are probably more important than using their oil. That way you get the very best filtration available no matter whose engine oil you use. Best wishes!!!

The solution to this engine problem MUST be a 12v swap WITH hood exhaust.

The current FRAM filters are not bad. In fact they are quality filters nowadays. You should cut this one open and make a video.

I use only Rotella T6 in my Cummins powered Titan XD. Love it.

I run t6 in everything gas and diesel its known in the road racing community as the best oil that's reasonably priced.

Where I work we use the mobile 5W40 del vac synthetic in the newer Cummus School busses. I When I do a gasket from Cummus Those gaskets are in pieces you have to glue them to the oil Pan with using altergray silicone

If i had a shop of some sort id just pull it and reseal the whole thing that way your done and dont have to worry about oil leaks for a good while.. now since im in my driveway with no dry place to keep the motor i had to do it in one day but definitrly would pull it if i had a garage here at the house.. thry are super stupid easy to pull out and put in 😊❤

Rotella in my 550 cat, 729 000 miles, never touched other than overhead done twice and fuel pump.

The Police have plenty to do. There is a reason if they drop by every month or so. I do recall some minor issues where you kept your truck illegal as (you said) words like. “I make more off KZread then ticket costs. Plus you liked the look better”. At least I took it that way. If people understand laws, are honest they bend them from time to time. It’s just not good to provide evidence. If hauling a needed light is not functioning. Either do NOT record that. Or show it getting fixed. I hook up to go 15 miles and a clearance light is not working. Yep I might go. Fix it later. But I will not document that. That Georgia guy extended his hotshot trailer. Enough people called authorities they shut him down, inspected it. (IIRC he had passed multiple inspections with zero comment) they agreed it looked safe. BUT they decided UNLESS the original manufacture certified HIS welding, bracing. He could no longer haul for hire. He could haul his stuff fine. I think he had months of hotshot hauling after stretching trailer. Think of how some person who is jealous can use info to hurt you. They can’t just disagree.

My 04 never had one when I bought it and it rode the same. Just extra maintenance for no added benefit. I'm always breaking sway bar links

Been running Rotella T6 and an oil treatment gained 3-4 mpg empty and 1.5-2 mpg with a trailer

Only combo I use mopar filter rotella oil 🤙🏽

T6 is fancy mine gets t4 still going at 436k

Have you ever used candel wax in place Of w d 40 type stuff try it maybe surprise Just melt it into stuck spots Or were ever you may need w d 40 type stuff

Never have. I grab whatever is the best deal at the time. I really liked pb blaster and heard good things but we do get wd40 occasionally. I don't have anything scientifically backing up what I'm using so it's just kind of going off of what others have said

I didn't. Once they snapped I just threw a new motor mount in it. Those bolts were NOT coming out at least not without destroying to old mount. Scrapped it and moved on.

You have a misconception about Fram oil filters. Alot of mechanics and a few I trust on youtube that are actual dealer techs like Fram and when you cut them open they are pretty much the same as any other filter. They are all Chinese these days anyway.

5w40 year round in my commonrails. 15w40 Mobil delvac in my 12 valves

that rotella here is $57 canadian each

I agree on that. I've been using marvel mystery oil as my Dad loves that stuff and its' saved him a few engines. I like my Rotella T6 for my commonrail's and T4 Rotella on the old mechanical Cummins. If I did a rebuild or got a brand new motor I'd probably try to start running it. This engine has some minor cam scoring on one of the lobes but it's not worn at all so I'll just run it until there's an issue. As the maintenance fund goes up I'll be throwing parts at it when there's issues. Trans first, injectors next, then we go to the maintenance fund afterwards.

I've worked on drilling rigs for 20 years. we get it in 5 gal buckets, and it goes in everything, lol I bought 2 new trucks last year, i swapped them to amsoil before they had 20 miles , im doing an amsoil 50k service on both this week.. I also use their injector cleaner and Diesel All in 1, I've watched balance rates on injectors go from + - 7/8 to within spec with 2 treatments and maintained with the All in 1

A pan can't be that much, why not just replace it and not have to wonder....wow

I would take it as a warning from the police not to lie or exaggerate on videos not that its illegal to lie but in the event of a accident or something bad does happen one day they will probably go back in videos and make the claim that the previous videos show a pattern of overweight or other violations. Over the years it seems the goal is to charge commercial drivers. I'm going to apologize to the keyboard karens in advanced for any of my grammar errors.

It's one thing to joke but if something happens I have proof of being legit and legal. They'll go on a video and see one thing but once I pull out my proof of insurance, license, all my numbers, it'd get dropped pretty fast.

@@CPSteveMiller I was referring more to modification on the truck or overloading your axle (not saying you do) but if you get into a accident with 30000 pounds and someone gets hurt and they start weight each axle and your over on your rear no madder what paperwork or insurance you have they are going to file charges most of the time.

Just tell them your making movies and your acting nothing is the real deal prove it haha it's all fake .

Hi: If you go online and join the Amsoil club, you'll get a discount of 25% off retail so the price will come down to what other quality oil is selling for on the shelf. Shell Rotella is an excellent none synthetic with a fine okadditive package and a good detergent to keep down the formation of sludge. I use the Amsoil 2 micron bypass filter. When I drove 18 wheelers one of the companies I drove for used Amsoil with the bypass kit and double bypass filters. They changed the oil every 200,000 miles,. But, changed the primary and bypass filters every so often, and filled them with fresh oil. On my 08 Ram with 213 K miles, I change my oil every 50,000 miles, but change the primary 20 micron Amsoil filter every 8 000 miles, and the bypass every 36,000 miles, filling both filters with fresh oil. My truck is used exclusively for towing so it's all highway miles, and the lab samples always come out perfect. We have a Burgman 400 cc scooter for shopping, and sightseeing. 73 mpg and a top speed of 100 mph, plus enough room under the seat for two full sized helmets, or a lot of groceries. As you may have guessed by now, I'm finally a full time rv,er, but have about 3 million commercial driving miles since 1973. The Amsoil makes sense if you want your oil to be the very best, and the bypass 2 micron filter assures oil so clean that you will notice a slight uptick in fuel economy. Plus my engine has zero oil leaks and uses 0 oil between changes because the are no minute abrasive particles to score the pistons, cylinders or the valve train. As always, I enjoy your wacky ways, and ever changing plans. It's a hoot! Michael
