My Endgame Mechanical Keyboard is (under) $150. Qwertykeys Neo80 Review!

Ғылым және технология

The Neo80 is everything I'd want from a mechanical keyboard and more. With pretty much every single mounting option available, a great stock sound without any foams used, but with the option of going full foam for that marbly clack, this board puts many "customs" in my collection to shame, and at a fourth of the price. Check it out here!

I do want to take a moment to say that your switch reviews are some of the best I've seen. It's so valuable having an idea of what new and different switches sound like stock, L, L+F, etc as well as the general moddability of the switch itself.

I agree, even a blog would be great if no time for long form videos. written word and maybe a typing test?

Great video as always, glad to see you uploading since I know these videos take so much time to make, changing configurations like foam and plates on a board takes a lot of time that isn't obvious when all we see is the finished product. I'm a 75% for life type of guy (need function row and ~ key for work but don't like the extra width of TKL) but this is an amazing board for the quality and price. Glad you love it and I hope they come out with a 75% version of it soon (I don't love the colors of the QK75N, waiting for a QK75V2 or Neo75)

Just bought the HMX Cloud switches. They sounded like exactly what I've been looking for. Hopefully my Neo80 gets here soon too!

I just for the hmx clouds for the neo65 and there is something SPECIAL about these switches. They are everything I want in an endgame switch and turned an okay keyboard into and endgame just by using the clouds 😍 such a beautiful bord and the switches are magical somehow

Nice review. I got this too, but I have yet to build it. Would you say gasket dumbells were your favorite feel/sound?

all the neos just killing it, i still bust out my day 1 neo65, i have yet to see anyone not like the neo80. im not a tkl guy, but this would be on my short list, and of course the f1 in gb rn. thanks again for the vids. also finally got the fixed (3rd time) subuwus i originally bought from your first vid on them. they did indeed nail that cherry sound. they are quite good. nice change from the hmx takeover lately lol. Take it easy, hope to see more vids or streams on twitch!

Did you use the hot swap board for plate less? If so how tight are the sockets

Geon F1-8X V2 is my end game at least i hope when i get it next year hahahah.. i was looking at the Neo80.. but it needs a thicker brass weight and not on the outside bottom where it can do no good but on the inside . And make it 3 times as thick so it has impact on the sound.. All the rest is perfect.. Oh yah and give people the option to buy extra ball-catch as spares .. People reading this it's a quick release system so you can open quickly and more often so don't tell me they don't ware out.. they are not made of unubtainium.

Is it different enough from a neo65 besides the layout to consider owning both? :)

Features, build quality, and sound-wise. This is it. I just personally want a different layout. Can you help me find a 60% with Macro buttons on the Left and a Split-Spacebar with minimal input lag AND can be silent-modded?

If this thing had split spacebar i would have consider it to be endgame for me. The green is just top notch but i need my split spacebar

I get that need to strive for work/life balance and struggling with it due to all the other responsibilities, interests, and needed family time that make it challenging. You do you; tbh, for me, I kinda dont mind gaps in content here and there since my ADHD brain could use the breaks 😂
