It's because of worlds like this I make damn sure the End is intact before I start a long term world now. I've seen some of these live streams, including the death loop. Definitely remember watching all of those nether travails. I only learned this recently, but if the egg or experience falls into the void it'll reappear at your original overworld spawn. I had some weird stuff happen on my current world where I didn't get the egg and only part of the experience. After learning about this, I traveled back to the world spawn and both the egg and experience was there. So all that experience you didn't get is probably sitting around on top of that mansion if you haven't been back there.

I remember this stream! That death loop was one of your best. Absolutely soul crushing!

I actually did the reverse of this in my main survival world. I mined the entire end island and put a glass floor down around the area at y=1. When I went back into the end after I finished clearing out all the island the game respawned one or two tiny islands (the circle ones with flat tops). If I mine those they will be regenerated in the same places when entering the end again as well. Would not recommend it. Even with mega beacons and efficiency 5 it still took like 100 hours.

I commented about how this music 7:52 sounds like Minecraft dungeons music but at this point 8:15 I realized that it was Minecraft Dungeons music which is ironic because Minecraft dungeons got an end dlc

To die to the void is the greatest tragedy. Hats off to you recovering from it multiple times on this world. 🎩 🙀

Huh, I thought that the portal to return to the overworld wasn't supposed to be able to spawn in this seed upon defeating the dragon, due to it being too low & blocked by the void. Was that in Java only? Or a different version?
