My encounter with the Saudi police | Finally visiting Riyadh and my thoughts!
Great day in Riyadh! Did a lot. Really need to go and see Cristiano Ronaldo play with Al Nassr now that he's there. Went to the financial district, Wadi Hanifa and of course, a mall!

As a Muslim Canadian, it is sooo cool to see life in a Muslim majority country. I hope to visit for umrah inshallah but it's unreal to even hear travel duas and such being recited on airplanes. *since writing this comment, I had the opportunity to visit Saudi for umrah alhamdullilah! it was amazing to witness life in a Muslim country! May Allah grant us all the opportunity to visit His home for hajj and umrah very soon! Ameen.

@@thecpt6265 It's true there are restrictions on new Yemenis living in most of the GCC, but those already there shouldn't face issues. It stems from the security situation in Yemen, I think.

From my water resources engineering background, a "wadi" or a valley is a place with low elevation usually between mountains, when it rains, the water falling on the mountain flows to the wadi and streams of water are formed, I think here the case is the same but without a mountain, so rain from the surrounding streets goes toward this wadi and runs in streams and plants grow on this water. Hope this was beneficial for you. Love your videos with Sami.

You should've visited duraiyah (الدرعية) there is a place called (البجيري) its really great place to see how 300 years ago Saudiarabia's culture was looking like in a cinematic scenery way, it just feels like you're in a movie. And there are many more places (not to mention the Riyadh season activities) to visit, Riyadh malls are just old fashioned, and the (وادي حنيفة) you've been to is really good place but not that area you visited, I think your friend means (وادي حنيفة)'s part of duraiyah.

Apartments buildings next to the highway is not good for the inhabitants but creek that is in the middle muffles the highway noise or even cancels it. I heard the new airport in Jeddah is quite smart. Is it as nice as Dubai or Doha? I once went to Iceland in early February. The sun rose at 10am and set at 3pm. That was weird and messed up my entire biological clock.
