I flew to Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates via British Airways First Class. It was a night flight so arrived in Dubai early morning.
I stayed in Dubai at the luxurious One & Only The Palm, one of the most exclusive and prestigious hotels in Dubai. The service is impeccable, the food fantastic and the hotel amenities are superb. I stayed in the presidential suite which is in fact a private Villa, with private pool and even a private beach! To be able to have the privacy of your own large private Villa with pool, (& beach), within a 5-star resort is quite exceptional.
While in Dubai I ate at some of the best restaurants from the very famous Dior themed Nammos restaurant, to the new Atlantis The Royal Hotel and their new Chinese restaurant driving supercars from the new Lamborghini Ultimae to the Mercedes G-Wagon.
Dubai has so many places to visit and things to do, it was great to relax and spend a day on a luxury yacht, sailing along the UAE coast and seeing all the main sites from the luxury of your own yacht.
For a bit more excitement, I went on a private desert safari in the sand dunes, great fun to put a Landcruiser through its paces across the desert. Another great experience.
