Tucker is definitely your “Heart Dog”. I don’t mean just because he tells you when your heart is beating too fast. I mean that he holds a huge place in your heart & he gives you more love than you can imagine. 🐾❤️🐾

Your relationship with Tucker reminds me of my relationship with my old golden. She was so sweet and she was always underfoot, plus she was so in tune with me she helped me mentally process a lot of rough things I went through in my life. I miss her dearly, but I know she had a good life and was loved.

My golden retriever Sonny would dig for hours on the beach, holes would be 3/4 ft deep!!…. Never known a dog dig like that, used to get people standing watching….. Miss him massively 🥲❤️

It's so sweet to see Tucker loving on you. He reminds me of my sweet, sweet Harley, who has been gone four years as of May 1 this year. His bestie GR Emma is still with me, though she just turned 10 on April 29th. Harley would have made friends with the bunny and they would have fallen asleep together. Emma would have murdered the bunny and then displayed the body as a warning to all others. It's funny how different their personalities are. I don't think I've seen before, how sweet and loving he is with you, and that makes this episode a treasure to me. What a good boy.

I heard something on another.video that just made me tear up. The puppy was "saying", "We love you so much because we know you will be with us our whole lives, but we won't be with you for your whole life. We need to make each day count" 😢

Something similar happened with my cat a year or two ago. Before we moved and had central heating/AC, we had a big bulky AC we had to put in a window and it stuck outside. Sometimes, birds and squirrels would go on top of it and my cat would hear them talking and making noises outside. He couldn’t see them (even though there were plenty of windows for him to look out) but he could hear them. He would sit underneath that AC for 2 days, sometimes a week or even weeks, obsessing over what he heard! We’d tell him they were gone, but he wouldn’t listen.

I got my Golden Retriever, AU, about 6 months before got Tucker...(Au being the chemical name for gold...but it sounds like 'Hey You') I recall seeing some of the very first videos you started to post and it was fun watching Tucker grow up, an me thinking, 'that was AU's looks and behavior 6 months ago' Still, while Goldens share a lot of similar 'breed personality' each dog has it's own unique personalities too. I got a good laugh out of seeing things Tucker did that AU didn't do, and vise versa. AU isn't much of a hole digger...which is great, because I'm not much of a gardener...lol I enjoyed watching Tucker help you out : ) Also, I live in the country, and AU would never kill a bunny...in fact, twice, he's shown me baby bunnies in destress. Once, on a February day, and this tiny bunny was half frozen...just sitting in the middle of my yard...AU just stood next to it, while I put on my shoes and went out to see what the black spot in the snow was...AU just ran over to it and sniffed it then kept looking back at the door...which I leave open no matter the weather when he's out side. The 2nd bunny...was in the Hot of summer, a baby again. AU never tried to get it to run, or nuzzled it...just stood next to it. Both bunnies were taken to my vet, who stabilized them, and found them homes with people she knew who loved to have bunnies as house pets...not caged up or to be used as a meat source. AU also alerted me one night about 2 am...by whining at my front door. I got up and opened it and could hear a faint but fast mew mew mew mew. I got dressed got a flashlight and spent the next 20 minutes in my neighbor's 'junk yard' and found a 5 to 7 day old kitten, alone in a backhoe bucket that was on it's side in almost waist tall grass. No other kittens or the momma cat in site. That kitten too was taken to the vet in the morning when my vet opened up. The kitten was named 'Scoop' because he was found in a backhoe bucket, and he was adopted by one of the vet techs. : )
