Try this same system but clip a foot loop/long sling/something to stand on to that bottom hole on your ascender. That way you can slide the ascender up and then stand up fully, take in on your Grigri and repeat. It’s a lot more efficient

You're right; good tip. For some reason I climb the RADS without a foot loop; but climbing like that can be difficult, especially with no branches to step on. I tried it once with the foot loop, but I need more practice using it, so I'll climb with it more often.
You can do this with just your harness, rope & knots same system
