Hey, congrats on the offer !!! Can you please share the comp they are offering. Even I received an offer but the comp was way less than what DeShaw offers in IITs. I don't understand what's the point of this discrimination on colleges.

After how many days of asynchronous interview I get update from de shaw

What about ai round? What were the questions?
Were coding questions based on dsa or cp
In how many days it gives test results
hi aishwarya! i've applied in de shaw for the position of Associate in Operations and recruitment but I'm unable to find any kind of information about it, especially the questions that they might ask in the interview. I'm very very stressed and have no idea on how to start preparing. Can you please please help me with it? :(

Mam I'm from biotech branch, but I'm more inclined towards software.. . Im good at problem solving and solved 900+ probs on leetcode with good contest rating. Will my branch become an issue for off campus placement while applying for companies?

Same here bro , 12 March , same position Let me tell you bro , if. Lets suppose you cleared the assessment,then your interview will held ,that interview will be the toughest i got to know from my friend

Yes, i was eliminate in video round , I didn't see i had 2 min to speak on answer, i only speak 1 min , less than that even , then i got nervous , eventually i was not been selected by de Shaw Very bad 😔😔😔
i want to ask one question that i have 7.2 cgpa (after 7 sem)( CSE NIT ). most of the product based companies look for 7.5 + cgpa. is there any hope for me to grab good placement (off/on) campus. please dont give me false hopes ,say the truth upfront. i am 5 star coder at codechef too.

What I've noticed is, most of the companies either go for 8+ or 7+. Rarely there's a company that would go for 7.5. Also, the ones going for 8+ are very very less in number. So, 7+ should be fine. Don't worry just keep focusing on your skills!
