I loved this video! I just ordered my first chacos with a custom frog print strap, i am stoked for a shoe that lasts a lifetime

LOL! I should have watched this before placing my custom order. I didn't even notice that there were three different sole options when I ordered. I saw the color options but that's it. But luckily the default sole is the one I had actually wanted.

My guess would be they stretched out..the oldest one are the longest right?....prob a cross between that and then shortening them .25 inch

Man this was an awesome review you did of the Chacos sandals. The pair that you had for 17 years still look really really good. I tried these Chacos sandals on in the store one time and it was very very embarrassing for me. I have big very very wide feet sz15 6 EEEEEE wide with very very fat wide toe that are equally straight across making my foot 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. What was embarrassing was #1. I could not get my big toe through the toe loop with it adjusted all the way loose & #2. I adjusted the toe loop to where it was sitting underneath my big toe and I still could not get my foot inside the sandals to wear the strap would cross over top of my foot because of my foot being so wide. It really sucks cuz I like these sandals. They do not make a shoe , sock , or boot that's wide enough for my foot I have to do a lot of things barefooted👣 which I don't mind being barefooted 👣 it's just very very hard to go inside stores barefooted 👣 these days. There are some stores that will allow me to come in Barefooted 👣 cuz they seen how wide and how fat and wide my toes are so they clearly understand my situation cuz they have never seen anybody with a foot that wide & with very fat wide toe. I can barely find flip-flops to barely and I mean barely hit my foot because of my foot being so wide. If cops are very difficult for me to put on because the strap get caught up between my third and fourth toe because of it being so wide. Both of my little toes hang off the Footbed of my flip flops. I talked to Chaco and they said they do make they sandals for very wide feet. Chacos told me to trace my foot out on a piece of paper and mail it into them and they would get back with me. They did tell me that my sandals would have to be custom made and I don't mind doing that cuz that's what I would like to do anyway. I like the way you did your custom-made sandals they look nice. It really really sucks having a very very extremely wide foot that is 6 1/2 inches wide with extremely fat wide toes that are straight across. I wish my toes were at a 45-degree angle like everybody else's toes that way my foot would not be so wide. Thank you for the good video. That was an awesome review you did.

@@Campgeeks hello how's it going man. Sure I definitely let you know how the Chaco sandals workout. They are on their way so I should receive them shortly. I am hoping that these sandals will work out for me. It is very very difficult to find Footwear for a foot that is this extremely wide. I seen a big dude who had wide feet and big toes wearing Chaco sandals and I stopping him an asked a couple of questions. Very nice person. He saw how I had big fat wide toes just like him & it started a nice conversation that me & him could relate to with our wide toes. He was shocked though that my toes were little more bigger & my foot a lot wider than his. He was really surprised how my toes were equally straight across and not at a 45 degree angle like All toes are. He said his foot was 4 1/2 inches wide with big fat toe and my toes should not have any problems with the straps fitting around them. So I'm looking forward to this. Thank you so much for making this video.

They should offer straps that are more stain resistant than the others..they could probably charge an extra 10 a pair for it..even if it was some kind of environment friendly scotch guard ..you know it's a good idea..no charge.😉

Hi there, I have got chacos as well. I like them a lot, but get very fast heavy blisters on different parts of my feet. Habe you got any tips to avoid them.

seems a bit overkillled the big tag with the american flag considering they aren't even made there.. I prefer the first one's where they make them in Colorado and don't do a big fuzz about it. I guess it represents the times we are living in

lots of people talk about blisters and pain. You've obviously been wearing them forever at this point but... what do you think of this?

Sorry for my delay, but I do not get any blisters, nor do I get pain. The newer cloud bed is definitely more comfortable, especially for all day use, at least that is what I find. My wife gets some soreness if she wears them all day, but that is mainly due to the higher arch support, so I would say it depends on your feet.

I got blisters on the inside edge of my heel on my first pair. Haven't had an issue since then, as that spot on both my heels have calloused up in the same spot. Best way to go is to wear them for short periods of time every day the first couple of weeks to help your feet adjust and to soften up the straps.
