Thank you for that insightful video, it’s not all about the makeup, its also about the skincare routine to keep your skin looking & feeling fresh, young and healthy! Yesterday, I laid out by my pool for an hour and I used, for my face Dr. Sturm SPF Drops, I was not sure how to use it, but I put it only on my face (I did use a stick, forgot the name of the product around my eyes, and between my forehead (that is where I get wrinkles (so every six months I have to get Botox to fix it up, which it does). I do not burn, I get really dark in the summertime. Years ago, I would love that, now that I’m 57, I think it’s ugly to look that dark. Now I wear a high SPF on my face, so it doesn’t get black, (my background on my moms side is from Latvia and from my fathers side Austria, I am Jewish on both sides, so I guess I have olive skin. My kids are grown and out of the house, it’s just me, I am divorced and he is very good to me (we had issues, another story for a pool day, but he does support me financially and we are still a family, we go on vacation together, we never moved on to another person and we are very close, it’s just best to be living in separate houses. In the summertime, I will wake up, put on a bathing suit and walk right out into my backyard to the pool. I do invite a friend or two over (no little one’s, I’m past that stage) and we order lunch and have it delivered to my back yard. FYI: My house is not a mansion, it’s just a really nice house, and 2 minutes from the Jones Beach, so if your ever in NY working hard in the city, and you want a break just take the LIRR right to Wantagh, and come right over to my beautiful pool. It's hilarious when you said you apply the expensive products on the upper body because that's exactly what I do too 😄 I apply whatever on my lower body...hehe... Also, hyaluronic acid can actually lead to more dryness and possibly even peeling if it isn't locked in with a moisturiser after it's applied. I learnt this recently.

A possible reason for still having melasma under the eyes is not enough sunscreen in that area. If the usual sun screen is bothering your eyes in that area, try La Roche Posay spf 50 Ultra Protection, it is created for sensitive eyes. It works for me to apply generously under the eye and on the eyelid as well.

Hi, great video! I am happy that at least one of the products I had also: the exuviance serum. I currently am using a cream for brown spots on my face caused by the sun and I really don’t know when to apply it on my face. So these days in isolation, I am applying this cream against spots and the spf (on clean face). And that’s it. I think that applying the serum will stop the action of the cream so I stopped it... Please help ! And I have also a question: can the SPF replace the moisturizer?? Tx!

I've only left my flat 4 times in the last month as well, apart from putting the rubbish out that is. I love bright sunny days, but I just can't cope with the heat. It drains the life out of me. Putting on make-up has taken a back seat, but skincare has had a massive boost, and my normal/combination skin has improved no end.

I use to apply it before the moisturizer and I normally use a normal sunscreen with SPF 50 but don't know if it is still effective... Do you know more about good products with sun protection? Spf always has to be the last one (after 10 min of settling in you can apply make-up)

This is so different to my skin care routine. I just wash/clean, tone und moisturise ( with or without sunscreen). Never had a problem eventhough my skin is basically dry/dehydrated....

Megi Marina Avene and la Roche posay seem to very popular with the french KZreadrs I watch.

Bought the NARS Wanted palette for my wife as she has a skin tone very close to yours, is a big fan of the looks you create and NARS Wanted is the one palette you always take with you when you travel so I know it will be good. Can you do a video with two or three of your favourite looks using that palette? I couldn't find a video by you that focuses on Nars Wanted. She has hooded eyes so if theres anything you would do differently for a hooded eye please mention it during the video if you decide to make it. I hope you will enjoy making a video for one of your favourite palettes. Thank you for all of your advice. She has gone a long way in improving her technique from watching your videos.

I’ve always struggled with SPF because those 50 SPF were leaving my face white until I discovered mesoestetic. Very high protection up to 150 and very light. Difficult to find though in France.

Kulwinder sandhu I use that too! It’s a gel moisturizer so you should use that after your serum and before your spf!

Îmi plac foarte mult videourile tale, ești ca o raza de soare! :) Ai putea sa faci un video despre îngrijirea și machiajul pielii sensibile? Ma refer la produse fără parfum. Am o piele extrem de sensibila, se înroșește cu ușurință, fac dermatita ușor (mereu iau tratament) și am și probleme cu acnea, deși am 33 de ani. Pentru mine, îngrijirea pielii e o lupta continua în fiecare zi. Te pup!

Michalina Prokop Same here, but the breakout can be anywhere on my face. My daughter has this problem too so we don’t use them under or in foundation.
