Really enjoyed your tour, so clean and tidy, you put me to shame. I am a craft hoarder and now have 3 craft rooms floor to ceiling. Seeing all the fantastic projects you have made over the years I imagined you would have 10 times as much. You are amazing Sam. xxx 💜

Just know that you are not alone. I’ve been trying to get organized and am still working on it daily. But when you have so much stuff, really some of it needs to go. Luckily I have crafty family and I share with them. But I need to give more (and buy less) 😏

I have to ask, with this incredibly nice and well stocked craft room, do you still find yourself needing to go to the craft store when you start a project? Ha! It’s just the nature of the beast, isn’t it? While I’m not a crafter, I do railway modeling and woodworking over here in the states. I try to keep a relatively well stocked workshop, but invariably, every new project begins with either a trip to the hobby shop, hardware store, Amazon order, or sometimes all three! Although we’re in different disciplines, there is a common thread, and that’s to have a comfy, well equipped and stocked “escape space”! Our HAPPY PLACE, where we can lock out the madness of the world for a bit! In closing, I watch craft room tours not because I’m preparing to enter the world of scrap booking, stamping etc., but rather due to the fact that we can learn from one another, and a really innovative storage hack in a She Shed or Craft Room can often be just the ticket for a vexing problem in the railway shop! Thanks for giving us the opportunity to look inside your intimate workspace! It’s the best I’ve seen!

This is an amazing craft room tour! Now I can show my DH what a real craft room looks like. (he thinks I have too many things as it is, silly man, ha ha)

You've done a great job of using your small space and making it look so pretty. I store my stencils in 8x8 photo albums and you can break your cutting plates in half and still use them when your cutting smaller dies.

This is the nicest craft room tour I've seen. At first I though it was so big , then you panned out and I realised its the same as mine. Your desk suspended between two book is just brilliant. Thank you for sharing its far from boring love it.

I thought I had a lot of 'stuff'. Well, now I'm going to have to buy more. lol. In comparison, I have very little and yet I have a LOT. Love all the inspiring videos you do.

This is the 1st time I've watched a craft room tour from overseas, & it's amazing! Seems we're exactly the same, US & UK, which is awesome bc crafting is universal, & it's like a language unto itself. We're one big community:) I enjoy painting wood crafts, mixed media art on canvasses, glass crafts, etc, & now my Cricut, which has added a whole new reason to collect things!

What a wonderful place full of tools to work. Anything is possible in that room! 8-). Thank you for the tour! Not boring at all, it was a fantacy for me. 8-)

Hi Sam...very nice organized craft room...I'm jealous! LOL I left you a message on your frame flip card tutorial...don't know if you saw it. I wanted you to know I made your Fair rides cards and entered them in my local fair last week and they won 1st place AND Best of Show!! The judge even wrote a short note on the entry tag which said "Beautiful! I just love them". So thank you so much for giving me your permission to enter them. A lot of the women working in the fair craft barn really enjoyed them too. So..thank you for designing the dies! Can't wait for your "just a puppet" set gets back in stock cuz I really want them. I used to keep my stencils in a large binder organized by category that I could simply flip through. However my stencil addiction has grown so large that I now have them in a drawer by category or company. I can still flip through them but it holds all of them. It’s working for now.

Great craft room tour. Great organisation. You asked about how individuals store stencils. I put mine in cello bags, depending on size of stencil but most go in 6x6. I cut off top of cello bag where the seal is, place some cheap white paper/card cut to size to make it more rigid and then place stencil inside. I can then label them and store them upright in my storage containers.

Wow, you craft room is such a great inspiration! Everything is planned out perfectly and stored away so neatly! I'm really impressed and I got a lot of ideas for my own space. What I like most is that you keep things that are dear to you on display and decorated some of the doors with vinyl. I imagine it's a perfect place for creating and crafting. Thankyou Sam for a brilliant tour of your craft room. It has given me so many ideas of how to even try to sort things out. I have a cricut on a trolly but it's not stable. Your idea is so much better, especially with the table that folds down. The Alex drawers look very roomy and the pen storage is just brilliant. I currently have most of my stash in boxes and it takes ages to find that particular item I want. I am definitely going to my nearest IKEA to have a look at what they storage looks like.
