Just a couple question if you don't mind me asking, sorry to be a pain. 1st, what is a "usual" or "reasonable" time you can expect between needing to top up the boiler pressure? I think when my boiler was new 15 years ago, I never needed to top it up unless I bled a radiator. 2nd, should you put inhibiter/additive in a combi-boiler system? I did get a boiler man to check my boiler prior to my new pipe installation, we agreed it's getting on a bit, but he did give it a clean bill of health, including the pressure vessel.

Great video. Can I ask what is considered a normal amount of time before you need to top up the pressure. Also can a dripping mixer bar / tap cause a loss in pressure?

Good advice mate, thanks. I'm a sparky, but know just a 'little' about plumbing. Just had to have my entire rad system re-piped (overhead now, live in a bungalow)

Wrong! if a gauge goes from 1 to 1.5 bar that is NOT normal but a FAULT, the expansion vessel is either flat or too small for the system, basic heating knowledge 👎

"Loosing"? Is that a word? Did you mean losing?
