I'm getting tired of these stories where FMC is completely in the wrong but gets forgiven immediately because of some stupid excuse. This FMC was so embarrassed about MC she denied her relationship with him, ignored him, told him not to talk to her, and even went out on a date with another guy but then has the freaking nerve to be jealous, get mad, and blame him for the situation. This type of FMC is just disgusting and a very bad example of relationships. MC should have dropped her as soon as she went on the movie date (she even said she enjoyed it) and got with the other girl.

Have to laugh at the contortions the FMC defenders go thru. It's his fault, no matter what (narcissistic tendencies? ). She doesn't see him over Spring Break when he grows 7cm (or was it 9cm?), and HE changed? Huh? He only grew taller, there was no behavioral change. She claimed he said they were "only" childhood friends (need to verify that), but SHE said that and they were only "neighbors" to other classmates! She ignored him first, and got upset when he returned it towards her. She saw him ahead of her and the gossip, and tried to make him jealous regarding the movie and the other boy, not realizing the other boy was right behind her! So instead of confessing to both boys to clear things up, she went with the other boy! While there were definitely miscommunication on both sides, she went on a DATE with someone other than MMC! So she shouldn't have been surprised by the MMC's reactions!

Yui is an idiot. Like she got mad that he said to the question "Are you guys going out" with "No we aren't". THEN he waits for her to apologize for insulting their relationship then ignoring him, and she just gets mad he followed her lead for the relationship. She better do everything she can make up for him. She was a jerk and even went on a date with some other guy, she could have said no, as it seems like he never displayed that he was dangerous.

As an autistic person, I can’t make heads or tails on this whole ignoring scenario but I guess it all worked out in the end for Yui and Keiichi. However I do have something to say to Yui directly: From now on be honest with your feelings towards Keiichi and never let him go. If you don’t be honest to Keiichi, you’ll lose him to someone else and it’ll be a devastating heartbreak for you. Do keep that in mind now that you’re dating him, Yui.

Felix-Fel's explanation is correct in manga logic, in real world this only applies to primary school children and if a girl her age (15-16) would act like that consequences would be worse to the point of complete end of their friendship. The very fact that she went out on date with a guy who obviously was lusting after her is a major red flag. The biggest problem is her lack of introspection and empathy, in short her behaviour was abnormal. Her disappointment over his wording "We are just childhood friends" is oka-ish only because of one word "Just" other than that he stated objective reality because they never started dating and saying openly and publicly that he wants to date her to a complete stranger is idiotic since he didn't know how she was feeling.

Honestly the story is in 99% same thing on a on. Childhood friend treats MC badly and he still forgives her and runs back to her like obedient puppy... So many people wrote it already, but why not to make something different and let the girl end up alone or at least talk it through, but don’t make it romanticized, stay friends and let MC end up with second girl who actually treats him like a good person should. It would be much more credible and satisfying.

I'd call this typical Anime romance nonsense if I hadn't been through something similar in high school, only I said something completely different that upset my ex and got her to start ignoring me. I can't remember what it was but I remember being super confused as to how I could have upset her. I believe she thought I insulted her or something behind her back but I wasn't aware of that. But I took the hint from her ignoring me and I left her alone for a few days. Later she came up to me in the hall asking me about it. Once I explained it she realized she had misunderstood, but what she thought she heard was like super hurtful or something and was shocked I'd say something like that. I guess once she calmed down, she thought about and figured that wasn't something I'd actually say and asked me about it directly. None of this back and forth ignoring BS. Luckily we broke up mutually and just stayed friends

She legit already went on a date with another guy at this point any right to feel jealous is gone... yeah her feelings are so strong for the MC BS. and then after her date with him all she can say to the MC is "whats up with you" after saying she had a great time, sorry at this point the MC should have just removed her from any romantic relationship. the excuse she gave about not being able to say no to the date is total bs, i mean what she did was far worse by going on the date and then giving that guy hope he had a chance with her only to then turn up to school and is not randomly dating the MC. She is so full of her self, and she bassicaly went and NTR'ed the MC that she apprently likes, she is the one that started all this by telling the MC not to talk to her, she is top level selfish all because some girl who sits behind the MC spoke to him. And to top it all off she was mad when she thought he went on a date with that girl, after she had already been on one with another guy, what kind of messed up double standards is this.

@StangYTz Don’t worry, I agree with you on that one. The Male Main Character felt like doormat and is willing to still forgive her, despite what she done to him. But to be quite honest… They’re both to be blamed for what happened in these situations & events.
