The best chest /rig/bag of this type (no longer currently made) was made by Urban Outfitters simply called 'Chest Rig Bag'. Been wearing mine daily in N.Y.C. for the last 6-8 years, carries everything I need... (not a "cutesy fashion" sling bag!) and no square 'panel' in the back.

@d4darious and anyone else… I bought this chest rig mid-shoot this week after watching this video - I was on location and it saved my life, but I also had the issue of straps loosening. The straps are threaded the WRONG WAY through the ladderlock buckles - weighted tension causes the webbing to slide not bite as it should. You’ll know it’s wrong because the loose end of the webbing should be over the strap, not under it, which makes adjusting them awkward (that was what alerted me to the incorrect threading). Simple (and correct) fix - just reverse the way the webbing threads through the buckles👍

I bet this is the problem with the straps slipping (having them threaded through the buckles correctly is very important): "Lots of reviews about straps not holding. The work fine if you reconfigure them correctly. Straps come configured “backward” and do not provide necessary friction. Take the running end and start it at the opposite side of the buckle..."

@D4Darious Dude , I just bought myself exactly same chest rig, about the shoulder strap tho, I have the same issue you have. I am currently working on remake a new one, and it will be more reasonable and comfortable and easy to manage/adjust shoulder strap length(of course it will stay in place). And I will finish it just in a few days. So, if you're interested in what I'm making, we can find a way to contact each other so i can give you my design. And to be clear, this is not about selling you anything, It's just a DIY project that i'm working on, and I'm very excited just to share it to you.
