I came back to this song. When I was a sophomore in high school (2006) my mom got me this album. My parents & I were living with my grandparents while our new house was being built. My Grandma (my second mom basically) was going through cancer during the entire stay there. I listened to this album so many times during that time. When she passed away I never listened to this song again... I miss her so much & this song gives me the craziest nostalgic feeling ever.

MCR has been my favorite band since I first listened to them in 2004. I first heard this song when it was released when i was 14 years old... Now, 11 years later, I am an oncology nurse. The depth behind this song is so sad but so true. To this day this song still gives me chills. I love my patients, I love what I do, and I will forever love this band

I love how Frank is just mouthing the words and trying to look preoccupied at the same time

My aunt is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer stage IV😢. May God bless her suffer the least from this damn disease in her last days.

My mom passed away from Cancer (2007) and I found this song and cried all 400 times in a row that I listened to it. When I could FINALLY even turn it on WITHOUT crying, I literally drove to my sister's house with my CD player, sat my 2 sister's down and played the song and I left the room. From the next room I heard the first sniffle, then the next and a nose blow and then it happened, they both yelled to me"YOU're SUCH A JERK!!!" LOL! My mom was diagnosed with Cancer when I was 4 months sober and she passed 3 weeks later. We buried her the day I turned 5 months sober and I am still sober to this day (God willing I'll have 12 years Nov 18, 2018). HELL YEAH!!!

Has a survivor of a possible to terminal illness I have to say your music moved my soul and I can relate to so , much that's why the world needs MCR 😭

My anthem when i was diagnosed with breast cancer, i thought I’m gonna die, i still cry whenever i sing this song. Thank God and the new technology and sciences, inwas cleared. Listening to MCR made me feel not alone. This band is an inspiration, then and now. Love from the other side of the earth.

The way he says “baby I’m just soggy from the chemo” is one of the best things I’ve heard in my entire life

I will forever love this song ❤️❤️ I remember just hearing this on repeat for months as I mourned my brother’s death, he passed away after a year long battle with lymphoma. Gerard voice to so beautiful..

My mom was just diagnosed with leukemia a month ago... I'm just now able to listen to this song with out completely breaking down

I can't help but cringe at all the twenty one pilots haters and their close minded comments. twenty one pilots would not have covered this song if they didn't like MCR and appreciate the song. If they would have made the cover to similar to the original i don't believe they would have been following their heart. The original is great and so emotional. the cover sounds very good and I'm my opinion they did the song justice by keeping it very emo ad well. despite the electronic style of the beat it still holds that sad\desperate vibe.

This song is already sad/emotional but this version is even more! I cried listening to this version

Listening to this, in my bed, in the dark with the rain loud outside somehow makes it harder to cope with their death

i love how Frankie is just sitting there with a maracas or whatever their called

I love everything about this perfermance; the way ray stares up at the sky in the beginning, frank shaking that maraca and mouthing almost all the words, the look on all there faces, how ray is messing with his guitar the whole time, the wind blowing mikeys hair, and the way ray and frank mouth their background vocals even though it acoustic; it's just so perfect
