You’re too forgiving. 🤦🏾‍♀️ You’re worried about bothering your SA?? The brand is bothering YOU by selling you two faulty bags back to back. It’s not a matter of bad luck. That bag that you returned will probably be sold to someone else with hopes that they won’t notice or will be too scared to return it. I feel like the brand is taking advantage of customers like you. You deserve better!

I can’t argue with what you said 🙈 I had a feeling maybe because it’s so late in the collection, all the bags left over could be returns 😅 that will teach me to not wait this long before deciding to buy. If I had just got the one on launch day I could’ve avoided all of this drama and heartache 😔

Your love for the brand is so genuine that it is really painful to see everything you have to go through. It also sadly shows that the quality issue topic is a real thing (not just people complaining because of the abusive price increases). Yes, I would to see a bag care video.

I really do love Chanel 🥲 all the recent experiences with quality issues have really drained me. It is indeed shocking and so painful! Can’t even make these stuff up if I wanted to. Really forces me to take a step back and change what I’m going to buy from now on. Thank you for letting me know about the bag care video!! If enough ppl comment I will do it 🥰

Oh my goodness, I’m so glad that you were able to replace the bag and has such a good experience with your SA. Good customer service really makes a huge difference. I bet they could repair the length of the chain for you as well? I would be very interested to see a video on your experience with quality issues and repairs. I didn't tell her about the chain on this bag 😅 but you are probably right! they should be able to trim off some excess on the strap. I will use the bag for a bit and ask about it in the future. I can absolutely empathize with your situation Babe and have been closely following the evolution of your experience with this bag. It's disheartening to see that Chanel's quality can be so inconsistent, which can be quite challenging for those of us who genuinely adore the brand. I'm relieved to hear that you were able to exchange it. I would strongly recommend bringing the issue with the chains to the attention of your SA, whether or not you plan to get them repaired. The more they are made aware of these recurring concerns, the greater the chance that Chanel will take steps to improve their products over time. After all, our intention in purchasing these items isn't to criticize but to enjoy them, and these genuine inconsistencies can be truly disappointing. 😔

Hi beautiful 🥹🙏 thank you so much for watching and providing me with your thoughts! I feel partly it’s because I left it too late to buy the bags. So the ones left over were probably returns or have some kind of faults that’s why they havnt been sold. I can live with the chain so I am still happy I got it before the price increase!! Next time I go to the store I’ll wear this bag and show my SA. It’s probably an easy fix for them to shorten the woven chain. Just will have to send it in. I can do that later down the road. Luckily I was able to fix the twisted link, otherwise that I wouldn’t be able to stand 😅

I was on holiday just last month in Melbourne and Sydney and the SA I dealt with at Chadstone was sooo nice. I was in such a hurry but she was still so patient and nice about it it was a really good experience. Love that blue 22 mini and your sunnies. Great buys!!

@@queenofdiamondsamy Yes I had a great time in both Melbourne and Sydney! I’m from New Zealand and my sister lives in Sydney so I do go every now and then except for the last few years when the whole world was pretty much in lockdown. Melbourne however, I haven’t been for over 10 years and it was so nice to catch up with a few friends I hadn’t seen for such a long time! And of course I had to make great use of the tax refund service available so did a little bit of shopping haha. 🛍️ I am in love with my 22 Mini and I also bought a pink WOC with adjustable strap. As for sunnies because my head is quite big 😅 I can only wear glasses with wide frames and thin handles, otherwise they are too tight and give me headaches. I find Louis Vuitton ones fit me the best. Anyway glad that you got to change your bag and you have a great SA!

I can’t understand why ppl still buying things that have issues it’s like omg it’s ok I’ll pay 5k it’s ok if it has issues I’ll pay, it’s luxury it’s ok I’ll pay 10k. Luxury with issues, sure luxury. You are supposed to have 100% good luck when you buy something expensive, don’t feel sorry for yourself and pls don’t bow down to a brand and kiss their feet expecting to get offered a bag like it’s the cure of cancer or the holy miracle. It doesn’t matter who or what it is if it’s wrong it’s wrong, brands don’t care about us, if I die tomorrow I’m not going to get an special bag for my loyalty imma get nothing 😂. Rn with all the price thing going on for me it’s Hermes or Hermes nothing else brand new is worth. Btw I love ur KZread channel so much 🩷

Hi dear, I know I keep making excuses for Chanel’s poor quality. I am tired of it too. Just been happening too regularly. That’s why I’ve decided to take a break from buying from them for a little while. I don’t feel sorry for myself, just pretty bad luck and I’m choosing to remove myself from that situation. I know they don’t care about me. I love my SA and the relationship we have formed. If not for her I would’ve stopped buying a long time ago. I will be able to spend more at Hermes now. But Chanel was my first love. Thank you for watching!!!

They make you feel like you are super picky when actually we shouldn’t have to just accept this kind of quality for the prices we pay!

Congratulations on your successful exchange! Although still a big surprise to see that you needed to tweak the straps to make it even. I also am disappointed with the quality of my new vanity even if it wasn’t a real deal breaker. When I was looking at where the bag was made from, the light from my phone revealed like pen stabs at the interior bottom of the vanity. 😢😢😢 I too might just relax from buying Chanel after a last purchase next year. I saw the website for 23K and the ones I wanted either was over designed or has potential construction flaws. It was my Interior design brain working and might wait for the next collection😅😅😅. I was able to watch a guy KZreadr who tested a large 22 and he gave some interesting points about not getting the bag (it was on loan to try). It’s good to get a guy’s perspective as well. So my wish list might be a mini square or rectangle (still not sure) or a seasonal WOC in a nice shade of beige and in caviar. Good choice for the sunnies! The black and white was also quintessential Chanel but the all black was an excellent choice. The one with the big logo was too much. What I did was bought Chanel eyeglasses with the most discreet logo and converted the lenses to a gradient style so that I don’t need to take them off from the car to the mall. ❤❤❤

I havnt really even looked into 23k tbh as I don't think I will buy from that collection. I need some time to recover haha. OMG I cant believe you also had some issues with your vanity 🥲 is the leather indented? It's good you are analysing the bags, we really cant be too cautious these days!! And I agree, definitely good idea to get a guy's perspective on the bags you want to buy! Also the larger 22 is more of an everyday bag. I don't know how well it will hold up, if it would be suited for everyday wear. I would be scared to tbh. I think for your height you will like the mini rectangle much better. The square chain will be too short on you. I like square as I prefer shoulder wear as opposed to crossbody. Caviar beige woc would be beautiful. That would be a great option as the minis are all lambskin now. I do like how all the cc on mine sparkle when they catch the light. I think last yr's one was slightly different. I know everyone wanted those B&W ones! I did end up buying another B&W pair that I loved more. Ahhhh very smart to do graduated lenses!! They make looking at your phone or reading stuff so much easier haha!! 👌For driving I do prefer polarised tho, as gradient lenses don't offer enough sun protection.

I love to crossbody my bags and the WOCs for me are the almost perfect length crossbody. I stalked the Chanel website before the Sept. 15 release in the US and I saw the 22 mini in caviar. Initially my thoughts were is that it looked liked a deflated basketball!🏀🏀🏀 plus I found out what colors are coming out and none appealed to me. I’m also concerned about the enamel script logo. That might be the first to go rather than the leather. Then I was eyeing at this mini box bag. It looked like a tool box so its right up my alley but the sides of the flap had this origami extra leather attached to it that I feel in time will peel from constant open and close. Then theres this WOC in a dark gray that looks manly and at least not black. Then reading the description, the metal top handle has “strass” (glass) accent on it. Aside from the potential possibility of falling off from constantly holding the bag, the only thing that made it a little manly was the color. 😂😂😂. So I will definitely not pressure my mom to go to a Chanel boutique when she travels to Korea next week. The perils of not having a Chanel boutique in your hometown! Yesterday I went to Dior to see if the Toujours bag might be an alternative to the mini 22 but it was sold out the minute it came in. I brought my Chanel phone case with me so the CA was convincing me to get a micro Lady Dior because she thought I might want a micro bag. That bag is so girly specially in the micro size. I really got bored with the men’s line from Dior. Hehehe Really wanted a beige caviar Chanel because I love the phone case too much but its in lambskin so I cannot take her out every time. 🥲🥲🥲

Plus the stickers from the CC logo were already peeled but not the magnets portion. I could just imagine your disappointment after checking your mini 22 in store thoroughly to find it still has defects when you took it home. Chanel your really killing us! Hahaha. 🤦🏾🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

We were so focused on checking for scratches we, I didn't even look at the chain 😅 sometimes you put all your attention on one issues you forget there are lots of other problems that you also need to check lol

Omg, you exchanged it in the nick of time! Are the two straps meant to be of different lengths? Once again, it’s shocking!

No!! They are supposed to be the same length so you can wear them together 😅🙈 yep very shocking!!! I think it’s just all the return stock or left over stock. Next time I know better to buy early or not at all lol. But thank god I got it before the price increase at least!! 😘🫶🏼

If a bag is damaged or you’re not happy with it, never accept it. If the price increase deters you from getting a bag you’re happy with then I’m sorry to say but Chanel is not the brand to be buying…I’ve been collecting and using Chanel bags for years and they ALL wear and tear pretty badly if you actually use them.

The chain difference here to me is acceptable so that’s why I have kept it. I’m glad I have over 20 Chanel bags now so I can rotate through them so none will see too much wear 🥰 I’m sorry for your experience with yours tho!
