Thank you so much Jannalynn for sharing your story and especially the “seed oil” app? and suggestion on how to approach restaurants cooking your food! I didn’t realize what a difference foods cooked.. and especially fried .. in seed oils can make you feel.. till recently .. I ordered some fried fish (only thing carnivore on the menu) but did ask beforehand what oil they used .. it was peanut oil .. I ate it anyway … by the next morning the arthritic pain in my hands came roaring back! I’m headed to Orange Beach tomorrow for the a week .. so can’t wait to try out that seed oil app! Thank you again for sharing your story!

20 years sober from alcohol now... finally learning that alcohol might not even be the addictive substance, it's probably the sugar and the grains that is made from!!! What else would explain the fact that when people stop eating sugars and grains they're craving for alcohol goes away?? The human body is a gift from God we should treat it as such. Thank you for sharing your story and much luck to you.🔥❤️💪✝️

I never understood addiction until carnivore showed me how insidious sugar addiction is. For me I quit drinking 8 years prior to figuring out the sugar thing. All I had to do was move away from the city center, out into the woods. I could no longer walk to any of a dozen bars, so I just stopped going. Easy/peasy so that wasn't an addiction for me, just a pass time. Then I started carnivore and when I eat things with sugar, it takes 2-3 months to get back on track. Don't have any idea why alcohol doesn't trigger it, yet fruit or a slice of bread will. Fascinates me how everyone is the same, yet slight difference here and there.

9 weeks into carnivore I was able to quit smoking cold turkey. The only withdrawal symptoms have been a slight bit of impatience, some joint pain and edema in my feet and lower legs (some quitters experience this and quitters flu). No need for gum or patches. Many people are able to overcome addictions while on carnivore diet which must be because of a nourished brain 👍😀

Wow, this is so timeous! Today, 25 June 2024, marks the 6th year angelversary of my brother who passed at age 51, 18 months after having his leg amputated due to diabetes. It’s also difficult to wrap my head around the fact that today a year ago, both my parents were still alive too; my mom passed away on 8th September 2023 and my father on the 30th of January 2024, leaving me the last one standing from my original family. I have decided to use this day as the inspiration and catalyst to go 100% carnivore. Dr Chaffee advises that you need to ditch the last 5% non-carnivore foods for complete healing. My challenge is that the last remaining 5% carbohydrate in my diet consists of my white wine - a physical and emotional crutch that I’ve been trying to ditch for many years now. Hopefully ditching the alcohol will be the magic bullet to clear the Trigeminal neuralgia that has plagued me for over 18 months!

Yes, this is very true. I'm always stunned at the responses I get whenever I mention lowering or stopping carbs altogether for myself. It's like people get jumpy and defensive. They immediately try to defend or justify why they HAVE TO keep eating carbs themself,or they'lltry to convince me of why that wouldn't work for them. I can lirwrally feel them either fighting or deflating (getting depressed) within themself just because I made a proclamation about abstaining from eating certain things. It really does sound like everyone is an addict when you talk to them about this. I'm realizing that most of us actually are addicts.
