I do pump 2 oz sometimes 1 oz after breastfeeding and I thought something was wrong with me , I started putting pressure on myself and doubting myself because everyone I came across on KZread pump a lot at a time … through your video I just realized they exclusively pump and am doing okay … thank you

A recommendation from my LC is to aim to drink a gallon a day. It can be water, tea, milk, juice, soup, etc, but shoot for 128oz of fluids. Seems like a lot, but your body needs it! This, along with consistency in feeding/pumping (frequency matters more than duration), will help keep your supply up. Ample hydration, calories, and sleep.
I’m due in 2 months and this has by far been the most helpful breastfeeding video I’ve found. Thank you 🙏🏽 ❤️
I’m 33 weeks this Thursday and so excited to breastfeed that I don’t think I’m realizing the work that will go into it… This was a great reality check and very informative. I’m a new subscriber!
I’m a first time exclusively pumping mama and I completely stand by everything you said. This video was extremely informative and I swear by milky mamas products also! Their emergency brownies are a game changer and a life saver!
my first time around breastfeeding i did alright but didnt get the supply or freezer fridge supply that i initially dreamed of. Im preparing for my second rainbow baby and I am so happy I came across this video. Thank you for the realness and not glamorizing and giving just basic information. The indepth and specifics are much appreciated. Thank you !
Your pep talk at the end about formula was exactly what I needed to hear after having a meltdown. YOU ARE AMAZING!

Ok first of all, I don’t have the patience to watch through an almost 50 min video. BUT. OMG!!! This woman is incredible. This is my first time watching her. But I think she might be the best mother to her kids. The most informative video on breastfeeding for sure. Oh and yes. I did watch the entire video!! Bless you and your beautiful family!!!
I am currently binge watching all of your videos lol. I’m expecting my first baby! Due in May 2022. I really want to be successful in breast feeding. I have no idea where to begin but your videos have taught me a lot and I feel like I am a little more ready.
Thank you so much for this!! Having my 4th and last in February and I'm older and more nervous now about my milk supply. Thank you thank you!

Yay!! Congrats and I’m so glad I could be here for you
This has been SO helpful!! By far the most informative! I'm due in 3 weeks & want soo badly to breastfeed! It's my 3rd baby & with my first 2 kids I always produced a lot of milk but it would lessen & lessen week by week & I couldn't get them to latch. I thought it was me & that my milk dried up too quickly. Now I know I was doing everything wrong! I had no schedule, & never nursed till I dried up. I'm so thankful for this video! I will be using all of your tips thank you!!🤎🤎
Im a new mom with a soon to be 2 month old and I am so glad that from trial and error your advice has worked at least for me. And I totally agree that if baby isn’t full with breast milk it’s totally okay to give them formula, baby has to get full! Love your channel!

Thank you SO much for all of your videos. You are so refreshing and calm and as a Type-A need to plan for everything kind of girl, you help my freaking out level reduce. I know you gave TONS of disclaimers about the products you mentioned. I checked out the New Mama drink and the only downside I could find is it contains Folic Acid and not 5-methylfolate. Not a big distinction for most women, but I do have the MTHFR gene which makes it difficult for me to break down and absorb folic acid. The next time I meet with my doctor I'll let you know what they say! (Also for anyone else that has that fun gene mutation.) This pumping schedule and tips you gave are on point. I've been building a Playlist of all the videos I know ill need to watch once our little girl is here, and so many of yours are on it! ❤
I absolutely love you ! I been doing soo much research during my pregnancy on breastfeeding and thought I was prepared and you taught me so many new things. I would of been so discouraged if my milk supply went down and probably gave up. You’re such a blessing 😩❤️

This has been by far the most informative video I have seen! It’s hard to find videos of mamas breastfeeding and pumping. I could only find exclusive pumping videos, so this has been so helpful. Thank you so much!
You have no idea how much this video means to me ! I feel like there are almost no videos like this, I don’t know if motherhood KZread creators are scared of judgment I just wanna say thank you for this video ! It has helped so much , I watched a couple of times entirely with tears in my eyes , so blessed with this information I wasn’t able to get a single lactation consultation in my city , they don’t reply

my heart is full knowing I'm able to help even just one of yall!! thank you for your sweet message and mama you got this! all you can do is try your best but always know that if it becomes too stressful then its not worth your sanity. its ok to supplement with formula if you need to or quit all together. never let yourself feel defeated or like a bad mom for doing so. as long as baby is happy and fed and you are happy then its all good!

I’m new to your channel and am loving it! I’m 12 weeks with my third pregnancy! I would love it if you could do an organization video for your kids rooms and toys and things!
Gotta say I love love LOVE this video! I've just decided to start pumping milk to donate, and even though this is my third baby I knew next to nothing about pumping and it seemed intimidating. It's funny, cause I followed the schedule & advice of my sister who was an oversupplier, and I've never had an issue with over or under supply with breastfeeding. Soo.. I suspect I'm going to be able to pump a good amount extra. All the advice you're giving with the first weeks of breastfeeding is exactly what my midwives told me. I've also recently discovered wearable breast pumps and it's made pumping with 2 other littles possible. :) Your knowledge is gold, I'm so glad you're sharing!
Wow I’m not a person who leaves comments, but I have to tell you. This is the most informative video about breastfeeding and pumping , so thank you and god bless you.

I’m so glad this is helping you! Yes it’s def a commitment but worth it
This was a great informative video from a very real perspective. I truly needed this with my first baby (we don't have lactation specialists here and everyone I spoke to were very patronising about how easy it should be and I must be doing it wrong). I am expecting my 2nd baby in May and this was just perfect - thank you very much for your experience and advice.
I know this is an older video but thank you so much for this information! I’m pregnant with my 3rd & chose to formula feed my other two. This one I really want to breastfeed because formula is so expensive, & I hate going to WIC appointments-just the pediatrician and postpartum appointments are enough to handle lol. I love how you added you’re not a bad mom for choosing formula. I also hate mom-shaming and felt a lot of it for choosing to formula feed my other two from the beginning. But they both thrived off formula and I’m praying this one will thrive off my milk. Thank you for these tips and your kindness ❤️
I really like you. I love all you said, this video really made me feel so much better, it’s the most laxed on the topic. All you said I am experiencing, down to the exact schedule as far bad nursing and pumping goes. You are awesome, thank you for putting this out there ♥️
Having baby in 2 weeks this isn't my first but I learned so much in this one video
The most informative video I have ever watch. Almost everything you speak on I needed to know.
I'm due in April with my first baby and the thing I'm most anxious about is breastfeeding. There are a lot of things with babies that are instinctual (i.e. supporting the head etc) but I wouldn't know any of this stuff if it weren't for these types of videos. I have a note in my phone with tips to remember when baby gets here. Thank you so much for providing so much valuable information!

I hope it helps as well but always remember your worth as a mama doesn’t come from how you feed your baby. Your doing your best and that is enough. Try not to beat yourself up if you have to keep supplementing or quit eventually it’s ok either way.
due in 2 months thank you so much for this info! it's amazing honestly!
Your advice on having a dominant side was something I never heard - I always blamed my breast reduction - and didn’t start with the side that didn’t make much and eventually stopped using that side - nice to hear it’s normal and perhaps my reduction isn’t all to blame- I’m having my second baby and hoping I can breastfeed longer this time ! All your advise is great

I was the same way until I found this out myself. I always felt horrible that I couldn't get both breasts to make enough so I totally understand. breastfeeding is hard work but if you keep at it and don't give up too early it gets so much easier. 3 months is the sweet spot, that's when your body has gotten used to producing what baby needs and you get into a great routine too! hope you journey goes well this time around. you got this mama

Thank you so much! I can't tell you how much I appreciate this video. I only breastfed my first daughter for a few weeks before it fell off and I always blamed myself and thought the low supply was my fault. Now with my second daughter I have literally tried everything. Lactation consultant, breastfeeding on demand, pumping, water all day, herb supplements nothing I do is enough to meet her demand and her latch is just not improving she gets tired and fussy as soon as the letdown eases off. And it's just so exhausting and depressing especially as I see so many mothers ebf and saying there's no such thing as the baby not getting enough. I started supplementing when her diaper count went down and feel like I'm shamed all the time. I wanted it to be a great bonding experience and am trying so hard but it's just draining

Same thing happened to me, milk dropped off, baby wasn't getting full and tried everything. Until I realised there were tons of clogged ducts deep inside the breast tissues, I mean, it had to be thousands of small ducts ed with milk. So my breasts had produced this milk and it had been sitting there for weeks and weeks and was super hard. And I was losing volume space to produce more milk. Once I began the long process of unclogging them (days), my baby boy can be fed more than once in the day on the same breast and he would be full, pushing the nipple away when he was done. Hope this helps you and other mamas out there. We're doing a great job, don't be too hard on yourself.

Thank you so much for this video. Very informative !
I have to say I'm very convinced engorgement is definitely due to not pumping enough or even at all for some. From experience with breastfeeding 3 kids all extremely different experiences but with all I was thankful with my third and currently love that I've paid attention to the Changes and advice from many influences of you tube. The over full breast will dwindle down every time that happens and please make sure to empty that out. It feels like you will lose it pumping it out but it will help stay that good if you keep taking it out.
I wish I saw your video at the start of my journey! At 6 weeks tho this is still helpful. Thank you!💗💗

Me too, just hit exactly 3 weeks. Weird that it does this to so many woman at this point. My milk started out ok, my right boob was the weakest link but then they both just shot up with the supply. Pumping 3-4onces each time. Then all of a sudden they stopped, down to barely hitting an once and this baby girl wants to eat all the time. It seems to be picking back up again🤞 and I have another lactation appointment tomorrow. Her feedings have been fussy.

@@jradart_8611 My baby just turned 10 months old today! I have some breastfeeding experience now and from my personal experience, just keep feeding. Your body will know what to do and will make adjustments. The cluster feeding makes you think that you're not doing enough, but its just the babies way of communicating to your body that it's needing more. Congrats on your baby and I wish you luck! Its a somewhat challenging journey, but so worth the benefits ❤

I just subscribe to your channel and I would love to see how you handle working ,having you time , and being a mom
Thank God I found your video. My daughter is two months old and since day one she has had a problem latching. On top of that she doesn’t gain weight as fast as normal babies so her pediatrician basically said to stop breastfeeding and to feed her formula. I wish I wouldn’t have stopped or at least pumped because my milk supply is very low and I really want to feed her breast milk. Now she doesn’t want to latch at all to my breast 😩 I will try these tips and see if I have any luck .

dont ever feel bad for giving your baby formula. you are a great mom whether or not you can breastfeed that doesn't define you as a mom. just remember that ! but its never to late to start trying to pump. if you want to try to then i would recommend that you pump every time baby eats a bottle and go for about 30 min each time. you can also do the power pump method where you pump for 20 min then rest for 10min pump 10 min rest 10min then pump one more time for 10min. do that one time a day for about 4 or 5 days and see if it boosts your milk supply. milky mama is a great source for tips plus they sell the lactation brownies and supplement drops i love! if you really want to pump milk for your baby then go right ahead and try your best but if it doesn't work out just know that its ok. as long as baby is fed and gaining weight that's all that matters. you got this mama!
Finally someone who explains what pumping is good for and how to do that, thank you so much for such an informative video!
Watching this video makes me feel so much better, thank you so much for this video.

I really want to try and make it successful this time around. I’m also trying to decide between the Elvie and the Willow pumps to use as a secondary to my spectra during the day mainly because my son will be 16 months old when baby is born and I know it will be helpful.

Don't forget that co-sleeping and night nursing are even more important if mom has to go back to work! I never scheduled feeds after we were established and my baby was doing well. Neither weaned young, and I never dried up until they weaned when they were older toddlers.
