11:14 Two things: First, this scene is from the books. The whole "hanky-panky" part. LOL. And second, they finally let Charlie's dad into the house! Last season, we saw Charlie's dad only in the car. Someone pointed it out to me and then I couldn't un-see it!

I believe they kept those lines in for the dad as they provided Tori a reason to be in the scene, she was also disgusted with their dad's use of the phrase "hanky-panky" in the graphic novels, and I absolutely loved it in both forms.

@@stndred4753 it’s not in the comics, but that’s not to say alice oseman didn’t confirm that somewhere else. i wouldn’t be surprised if that’s true, so that’s very possible

18:35 I saw a TikTok of Kit working out, lifting weights. In the books, Nick is supposed to be much bigger than Charlie. A big rugby lad. So I'm sure Kit wanted to get more buff for the series and in general.

I agree with you and Kit said it in an interview. In the novels you can see how much bigger Nick is in comparison with Charlie.

Actually kind of disagree about that ... if he was trying to go for comic accuracy he would actually gain some weight... Not necessarily gain the muscle that he has. Nick is kind of chubby in the comics. Like yes, Nick is more muscular than Charlie due to him being an athlete but he's NOT a super sculpted muscular guy like Kits physique is now. Kit has said in interviews that working out is a good stress reliever for him and he enjoys doing it which is why he's done it so much in recent years... So it absolutely hasn't been to prepare for the role in this scenario. 🤷‍♀️

@@AnxietyRat Kit had said it bothered him a bit that he wasn't that much bigger than Joe/Charlie in S1. Part of the reason why Kit started working out was to look closer to comic Nick. Plus with the shirtless scene in S2, I'm sure Kit wanted to look good. And there are rumors about his next movie role.

I just finished Episode 7! I can't wait to finish it but also sad to finish it. Taking a break to see if anyone posted a reaction. You were the first one I saw in my feed. Sales of Cadbury Oreo chocolate bars increased massively after it first appeared on this first episode of season two - everyone wanted to have Nick's favourite chocolate bar, and newsgents, sweet shops and supermarkets ran out apparently. In my newsagent, they have every other Cadbury bar except the Oreo one as it was bought quick.

Tao was alot. His insecurities and fears got the best of them trying to overprotect Charlie while trying to keep the friendship all together was it downfall but I totally understand his character identify with parts of his character. I love the moments when he would defend Charlie and fight back against Henry

5:22 The actor's voice is *slightly* less annoying than last year. I don't mind it as much this season. Last year, he just sounded like he was putting on a macho voice or something.

If youve watched interviews with the actor... he was just using his normal speaking voice in the show... I think he's toned down his accent SLIGHTLY in this season so that it isn't quite as in your face... But yeah, this is just now the dude talks and what is accent is lmao. A lot of people thought that he might be putting on an accent in S1. He isn't. Lol

@@AnxietyRat I did find out that was his normal voice after hearing him in an interview. I thought maybe his voice had deepened more or changed somewhat (since he is 18) between S1 and S2. Or maybe he had a voice coach. I like his voice better in S2.
