I'm so glad that you are reliable with your uploads, Steph, because Chateau Diaries on Thursday and Sunday are the highlights of my week. I don't watch TV, so I really look forward to each upload. Dan, congratulations! Your transformation from camera-shy part-time gardener to KZreadr to owner of a roofless chateau has been amazing.

I want to repeat your perfect sentence from above "transformation from camera-shy part-time gardener to KZreadr to owner of a roofless chateau has been amazing." Good grief, we remember the early days when Dan was probably trying to figure out what was going on -- and now he embraces it -- whatever it is!!!

DAn and Stephanie’s “😮 what?” In unison when Amaury says he doesn’t like crumpets was by far the best part of the whole video.

Oh Phillip........... sending you HUGS mate! Sooo darn glad to see Dan back working at the Chateau!! Love the work being done there!
I love how straightforward Nick always is: "Do you think we should start to platn oaks arund here?" "No."
I'm still laughing, 'Maybe you should do lunch' classic.
Alas, poor Yorick (someone had to use that line), his first ever crumpet must have been stone cold. Please give him a piping hot one dripping with butter.
We once had friends who could never get dinner on the table at a reasonable hour; finally, we started stopping on the way to eat just to get by with the cocktails until dinner was FINALLY served. Phillip, the mash with carrots and onion looks tasty. Keep cooking, like learning language, it gets easier and easier with practice.
It's always exciting to see Nick up in the trees and Dan working at Lalande. No matter what time dinner is served, it's always best to eat with people who love you.
Amaury needs one of those time-thingies Hermione had so he could do many things at the same time!
Congratulations to Dan !!!🎉 I must say though I do not know you all personally I absolutely love each of you ! Enjoy all the videos !
Dan’s true, trendy, talented self is continuing to emerge. Big congratulations to him on a job very well done so far. I love the friendship and gentle ribbing that goes on between you all. Great episode all ‘round.
Congratulations Dan! So good to see you and Stephanie together one the vlog. What a great friendship and a joy to watch. How far you all have come. So wonderful to be a part of this as a viewer! Philip what a great effort you made. Wow! after 10 for dinner. You must have been so tired. Well done.
Happy for Dan. Impressed by Philip and learning languages. Great people in the video today
Poor Phillip smiling on the outside, quietly crying on the inside.
Love Dan at LaLande! Philip cooking those two items crack me up! He is a doll! So heartfelt. Enjoy as usual dear Stephanie! Much love from MA🥰
Philip, I've been cooking for decades yet I get very stressed in the kitchen, and I could relate to your frustration and the sense of letting down your dinner guests. Stay focused, and pay attention to what more experienced cooks are doing, you have a huge advantage there with excellent cooks from whom to learn. You will improve in the kitchen because you want to.
Hearing you call Dan a muppet just made my whole week. I died laughing 😂😂😂
From being a Crompton butler to a KZread channel with 100K, Dan is the man. Congrats 🎉🎉🎉Stephanie is definitely to blame for introducing everyone. And we’re all the better for it. Nearly split out my drink when Andrew said maybe you should do lunch 🤣🤣🤣Poor Philip. He does get an A for effort. Thanks for all the giggles 😍😘
I grew up in a family where my Dad preferred to eat dinner late. I'm sure everyone at LaLande is grateful that Philip made such a wonderful meal! It takes practice to get the timing right. I love all your vlogs!!!

Poor Philip, I so emphasize with him. This is exactly how I feel when I have to cook under pressure! Good work for getting the job done.
Bravo, Congratulations Dan! Great milestone 🎉OMG I’m still laughing at the best Line ever! “Just do lunch” & it will be ready by dinner time. 😂Don’t worry Philip they all loved it! 💃🏻👍

Wow, what a VLOG. Andrew said it well, "maybe you should just do lunch" I laughed so hard I nearly split into two halves. I must congratulate Dan. The Garden will look fabulous. Perfect editing Stephany. My crumpet is off to you.
I am so happy to see Dan again...miss him at Lalonde with the team but love his new adventures too!! Very exciting Stephanie...more flowers and plants, going to be beautiful! Yea Dan....100K...Congratulations!! So glad that he was there with you Stephanie to celebrate....it is just right.... 👍👏👏🎉

Dan's little confused "you're English though" to Amaury not liking crumpets made my day! So funny!😂👍
The garden will look magnificent next spring!
I read in a garden book years ago that when you prune lilacs it takes around 7 years to come back full bloom. It happened with mine.
Lovely to see Dan back. Poor Philip (his little face. Sending him a big hug 🤗). I'm sure his dinner was delicious. It certainly looked like it to me.
Steph, you make your videos entertaining all the way through. I don't know how you do it.
Nick is agile as a squirel !
Phillip! We have all done this at least once! Trust me! Life will go on, sweetie! We all have days like this!
Poor Philip, timing is one of the most difficult things about cooking! Best of luck finding a rock-free zone for the new fountain, Stephanie. And congratulations to Dan on his award🎉
Wow what an achievement Dan 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Philip you are doing so well, congratulations on being so dedicated. I do like you with short hair I must say. Dan “I think that was a waste of a crumpet” made me laugh, he and Nick have done wonders with clearing the garden area. Congratulations on achieving the 100 thousand Subscribers. I love the “Maybe you should do lunch” and then it will be in time for dinner.
Absolutely love you all! Alan and I are now Lords thanks to Stephanies deal with Established Titles! What fun we will have with that! Waiting for a reply from Nati!
I love how your marigolds are still blooming!
"Maybe you should do lunch and that would be normal dinner time." lol
oh! i really like Dan's hair longer like that.
Oh how I’ve missed the banter!! Great episode, laughed the whole way through 💗
"for 400 vlogs, i thought that was the way" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looks like the gophers are doing great also. If you plant garlic and onions as a border around the flower gardens it will keep them from eating the flower roots.
A tip Philip, in the future, when planning your meal, do all the prep the day before, then on the day/night of you need to just cook and serve the meal. It seems the prep time is holding you up. Trust me, this tip will be a life saver for you. ('Till your speed picks up) Love you !!! Crack on!
Dan’s sarcasm is brilliant! I am hoping to come over next year to visit from Australia. Meeting you all will be so good.
"DID YOU JUST BRING THE ONE TEA..." LLOL
I can totally relate to Phillip. I often attempt multiple new dishes at once and dinner is inevitably hours late and I feel so exhausted at the end, I just want to go to bed. Sometimes you need a break for a few days, but keep at it Phillip! I think you'll hone your skills and enjoy being in the kitchen.
poor philip I feel his pain. Way to go Dan I was watching all 400 vlogs and Subscribed plus the new vlogs. I would love to come and help out at your chateau but not sure how much help I would be lol. Stephanie how about you help Philip with his next cooking adventure? Always great to see Nick he is a master or tree knowledge
Philip! You are not the only perfectionist, but sometimes we all need an I don't care anymore moment!
Poor Philip!!! It looked great!!! Dan, congratulations!! And to Steph, I grew up with the Von Trapp family 😉
Such admiration for how wholeheartedly Phillip tackles new skills. LaLande has launched him into a whole new life and he's always game.
It’s a lovely table with food made with love and friends to chat with. ❤
Here in Canada there is a beautiful tree, Japanese lilac (Syringa reticulata). The blooms lasts much longer and the fragrance is wonderful. Something to consider...
Darlin' you have touched so many lives!
I love the comradeship you all have together, some parts always make me laugh, thank you. Well done Dan on reaching 100K subs, you've earned it and Phillip you will be the best French speaking chef soon at Lalange! Keep up the great work guys, you rock!
Maybe you should do lunch and that would be normal dinner time - a classic! Such friendly banter amongst real friends. When is Dan going to finish the pergola roof? Once the garden is done or his chateau is done?😀
You've got such amazing people around you Stephanie 🤩🙏💪 Good, honest, hardworking and kind people ❤️ Cheers to ALL of them ❤️
It looked delicious, Philip! Don't go over the edge.. please! You are needed!
The most amazing group of hard-working, fun-loving, accomplished people I have ever seen! Kudos and success to all. Thank you so much for the inspiration, expertise and entertainment you bring to these videos.
Love all of you! Phillip, your dinner looked delicious! Andrew, you’re a hoot! Congrats Dan! I love the way all of you support each other. It’s friendship at its best.
I feel For Phillip - I don’t have to cook for so many, but it still takes me hours!
Philip you are one of the special people at the chateau. Remember we are all human. That is why we need laughter and friends.
Cute and sweet as philip is who cares how it tastes!!Lol enjoyed watching Thank you
Belly laughing with Amaury enjoying his crumpet!
Don’t worry Philip you have many many years to perfect your cooking. Your grandmother had lots of practice! Hang in there!! Cheers from Alabama! Linda
Philip, how could it be considered a disaster when everyone is satisfied and happy. Be gentle with yourself, you did great!
Wonderful escapism, you make living the fantasy look easy!
Phillip looked so vulnerable after his kitchen experience. The result looked delicious although dinner was served at a late hour. 😄

So much going on and it is lovely to come along on your adventures. Thank you
Never mock Dan’a strimming!!! We loved him for the rendering and plastering alone
You've created a real family Stephanie, be proud!
We all have those evenings Philip! I've ruined dinners that I have made a million times, mistimed meals and I don't often set a pretty table. As long as your food satisfies, that is all that matters.
I made curry once many years ago - it called for shredded coconut so I tossed in the leftover coconut from the Easter bunny cake and our dinner turned blue - it’s a startling development 😂
Oh Phillip, I feel your pain! I am not a cook and it always takes me twice as long as it should. But you did it and by all accounts it was delicious! Good job.
Hillarious Andrew! No worries Phillip, we have all been there. Congratulations to Dan on 100k subscribers. See all you had to do was buy a chateau. Great work on the garden and trees guys. Amaury, your a waste of a crumpit. Hillarious. Marie to the rescue with the flower also hillarious. Take care all and best wishes to all.
"Maybe you should do lunch"🤣😂🤣
Oooh, exciting things progressing in the garden. It's so good to See Dan back on the digger...just like old times 😊 And congratulations, Dan, on reaching over 100,000 subs. The plaque must take a while to get to you if you're now at 150,000 🙌👊 And Philip, you great Dutch Virgoan perfectionist (which makes you doubly perfectionistic) you, that dinner looks utterly delicious and has inspired me to do the mash. Drop that dissatisfaction immediately, do you hear me 😚 , and give yourself a pat on the back for making a successful dinner for you all. 👊 Love Jacqueline from New Zealand 💖
Lilacs would be nice. I cannot wait to see the fountain you choose for the chapel
Ohhh i feel for Philip 😭 i really understand! It's sometimes really hard to be a perfectionist 😀 but he will only become stronger after this! 😀💪
Philip, it’s the care, effort and final product, not how long it takes! Well done for sticking with both learning French and learning to cook! The meal looked delicious. 😋
