My FIL told my wife never to get involved with a man who didn't like cats. "People who don't like cats usually want their own way all the time. They will try to boss you around too." Lucky for me I love cats - and my wife loves me.

I wish I was allowed to have a cat in my council owned flat, but the council have a “no pets” rule as part of the tenancy agreement and this rule is strictly enforced by weekly property inspections by council officers - in our area, if access is not granted for these inspections by council officers, the police can be called in for forced entry of “problem” tenants properties

Inspections? That is an invasion of privacy. How can one live peaceably in a barracks? Where is this atrocity being performed? Maybe they don't even have animal shelters.😨😟

Where do you live? You can now have animals registered as an emotional support animal & this allows you to take your cat places you normally can't & it also requires landlords to allow you to have an animal even with a "no pets" policy! They can not kick you out if you have the certification, it's upheld by the law! A lot of people are unaware of this because it's fairly new. It even makes you exempt from paying pet security deposits or extra rent for having an animal!

@@hayleymariemills I am wondering if this person has created a story. No response from him. Perhaps a medical condition?. I've never heard of weekly inspections. It is usually difficult to get someone in to fix a leaky faucet. 🤔

@@thegreencat9947 I think it's likely he is from the UK or somewhere not in the US. I just replied to him 15 minutes ago so he probably hasn't seen my message. I'm not sure if they've passed anything similar outside of the US but I thought he may want to know about the program to look into it, especially if he lives in the US.
