The King of rock & roll ELVIS PRESLEY and his song MY BOY
Written by Phil Coulter and Bill Martin from the original song "Parce que je t'aime, mon enfant" by Jean-Pierre Bourtayne and Claude Francois.
Claude Francois was also the first to sing this song and was also the original singer of the original version of MY WAY.
There is also a beautiful rendition of MY BOY sung by Richard Harris.

Live music
All music recorded in the MUSIC FROM MY CAR sessions were recorded live with a Samsung s9+ and no extra microphone. All recordings were just in one take. No autotune was used. The backingtrack was played from a Ipad. And Franklin drove around in his Citroen C1. Traffic safety first.

Well Franklin, I hope you are no longer daunted to tackle the greatest, just because they made it theirs. You made this song yours and it was just as great and special as the original. 27 years is a long time not to try Elvis, so perhaps after this success you can branch out even more and do Neil Diamond !!!!!!! x

Heel moedig van je zo'n moeilijk nummer te zingen zonder tranen . Je kind is je leven en pas later als ze ouder zijn begrijpen ze pas alles. Elke ouder maakt dit mee en dat maar goed ook anders waren er geen eigenwijze mensen. Onbegrip is ook begrip. 😘
