I love her voice - LOVE it. Her version of "Beneath Still Waters" is right up there with Gene Watson's "Take Me As I Am." Both vocal benchmarks, that Just tears your heart apart. But . . . I have KZreadd MANY of her performances - and I've never seen or heard her play like Sam Bush or (more importantly) Sierra Hull. So with Alison Krauss out there - who actually IS a fiddle champion as well as an amazing vocalist and gazillion-time Grammy winner - and Sierra Hull's virtuoso playing and touring with Bela Fleck - and Molly Tuttle's lightning-fast soloing with Tommy Emmanuel . . . how can RV be called "the Queen" of Bluegrass ?!? Any other one of those women (and there are more out there) - can out-play her ten times over. And Molly and Sierra both write their own original tunes. If there's anyone out there who has a link to Ms. Vincent PLAYING/SOLOING on a song - I'd love to hear i. Because although "The Rage" is a good group - she has a mandolinist who does all the soloing. She can't simply be the leader of a band - to get that title. Alison Krauss, Molly Tuttle and Sierra Hull - all are leaders of Bluegrass bands - and they are ALL virtuoso soloists. But I've only ever heard Ms. Vincent play rhythm . . . and I would just love to hear her play a killer solo - even once.
