28:50 funny that im watching this right now as the big fish tank collapsed last night. All the water drained and flooded the hotel and even the streets around it

The rectangular opening at the "Pfandautomat" (36:14) is for re-usable plastic containers, that can hold multiple reusable plastic/glass bottles, issued by beverage manufacturers or a central organisation if it's a smaller company. Many manufacturers use this system. Of course you get more deposit, but you don't see these in the streets. You can see pics of them on the website of Genossenschaft Deutscher Brunnen. So that opening isn't meant for leftover liquids ;) Also the system is pretty confusing. For some glass bottles you get 0,08€, for others you get 0,15€. Then there are bottles for which you get no money back at all. Even for a German like me, it can get very confusing!

In Germany, I've been to Bonn, Boppard, Cochem, Koblenz, The Moselle Valley, Bremen, Rüdesheim, Cologne and Warnemünde as far as I know

Aww Epic 9-Euro-Ticket time. I was also in Perl, Luxembourg and other places... 30.000 km on train, tram, bus. The Dresden Standseilbahn and Weißeritztalbahn was my last trip in august. The thumbnail 😁all main stations in a nutshell at this time.

The Miconic with dseries buttons reminds me of SchindlerSmarts for some reason.. it has the same doors, same triangle key placement, same inspection control, the “Schindler” text at the bottom, .. Although like you said its bottom drive so that’s different and it has a different logic, but it just looks weird.. to you think this possibly could have been a Smart at some point and its been replaced with a Miconic?
