I’ve made the pepper beef and Mongolian but I prefer lamb 😜 both were delicious…. My life changed for the better when I discovered your channel 3 years ago…. Thank you so much for all your tips, tricks, info and yumminess ♥️
“…I think even my mum would be happy with this one…” Yep. That thought is at the heart of my cooking, too ☺️ 🤞
Thank you Marion for these stir-fry tips & amazing recipes as always. Love watching your videos

Yummy! I tried the stir fry beef. Delish. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
I hat never had cucumber in a hot dish until I ate sweet n sour in a Thai restaurant. What a surprise, I loved it. Can’t wait to try these recipes!
Wonderful recipes as usual. Gonna try some later this week. I still have trouble getting the beef not dry, but I’m improving.
This is amazing and good.
Your version of sweet and sour chicken is the first dish I ordered at the first Thai restaurant I ever visited 😊
Looks tantalizing delicious
Can't wait to made this😍😍looks Deliciousooo
Wonderful recipes 😋 👌
🙌🏻🙌🏻 oh cannot wait to make all three! I’m making the sweet sour tomorrow- I love doing stirfry‘s, Ramen, curries… so enjoy your channel! Interestingly, 30 years ago was the first time I had ever had Thai food. It was in Tampa Florida just off of the McDill Air Force Base. And the first dish I had was the Thai sweet-and-sour chicken. Absolutely love it! My then fiancé took me to this little shack that look like a hole in the wall and I was very skeptical and concerned that I would not enjoy this dining experience and it was absolutely one of the best!
Thank you for sharing the recipe Marion. I am obsessed with white clothes, and your blouse destracted me so much I could not follow the recipe LOL. Had to watch this one twice..... You know what I love about your recipes, that you make things easier, sometimes using a package (broth) is just as good as making it from scratch. And I am not kidding sometimes the broth made from scratch is lacking so much flavour you wish you had not put in so much effort :-)
Thank you for the recipe
Looks so delicious
we went to Coles. we scored a jar of each. we came home. we cooked and ate like kings. love ❤️ ❤️😍

You definitely got my attention with that Mongolian beef!
Thankyou marion
Looks good
I wouldn't have my sweet and sour any other way, Marion! That pineapple adds the perfect tart bite with the other savory flavors! They ALL look amazing! =] YUM!
I will absolutely be trying that cucumber tip, stoked for that! the baking soda tip though....folks, toss the meat with the baking soda first and let it sit for fifteen minutes, then add the rest of the ingredients and cornstarch. Marion is right, the trick of baking soda really does work...but, you have to let it work before you add other stuff. You can't just mix it all together.
I wish I could add a picture. Made the sweet and sour chicken tonight. Delicious and so pretty!
Fantastic

What cut would you use for Mongolian lamb?
Im so envious, not only did u cook in a white shirt but u tasted the food all without one single drop getting on the shirt.
Nice🥳
Yes to the cucumber. My grandma does that too. Some of the Asian restaurants serve exactly like yourself stir fried.

I've made both beef dishes multiple times. They are always delicious, ad my family keeps requesting I make them again.

What is the brand of wine you use?
Thank you for explaining about soy sauce. I thought that light meant less salt. I think my sister told me that. Looks good. Do you feed your crew when you make videos? I can imagine its torture for them smelling that food and not getting any. Hey to mamma Noi. Sometimes the fish sauce is all the store has, fishy smell, dark too. Can we dilute or anything?
How does your chicken stir fry become sweet and sour? Is it because of the pineapples?
should also put a bit of oil in the beef marinade to coat it and helps keeping the meat separate.
💛💛💛
What can I use instead of capsicum please?
I learn a new word capsicum. In the USA there are peppers I live in Switzerland
Is it Rice vinegar for the sour and sweet.

Baking soda? Baking powder or bi carb?
I feel like eating
Where can I find the recipe so I know how much to use of everything please
I only have white wine vinegar - can I use that in place of white vinegar?
@Marionskitchen

Sure thing 👍 That would be fine!
I made your chicken sweet sour Thai but yours has a little bit of a red color to it - ours was just a translucent sauce even though the fish sauce had some color to it but by the time I added the vinegar and the corn flour my sauce became more of a translucent. I also didn’t pick up the sweet sour more of a salty sour- don’t get me wrong it wasn’t bad but it’s not what I recall getting in a Thai restaurant- we followed recipe / video but I feel like I missed something-

Perhaps you can add some tomato ketchup or chili sauce and mix it with the corn starch or separately-that is what I do usually or some Chinese restaurants will add to the sweet sour dishes.

It's not super necessary. It's just tradition. However the amount she uses isn't enough to get you drunk, especially after cooking away a bit of the alcohol. But remember, alcohol is never cooked away completely, and about 25% of the original alcohol content remains in the food.
Liked the look of your sweet sour chicken but wouldn’t be adding the fish sauce. Can you suggest an alternative please.. sorry Marion I just don’t like fish sauce…..
