Check out the Audient iD audio interfaces instead of the Focusrite, they sound WAY better. They use the big ass British console parts. Similar price. But whatever works! Awesome set up!

Thank you 🙏🏼 and I get them from diff places a lot of the times I just use ableton stock drums, sometimes splice, and sometimes live recordings from my homies who drum 🥁

Suggestion... Raise those monitors up higher. Form symmetrical triangular listening environment with speakers aimed just past sides of your head/ears. They look too low on the desk; can be radiating reflections. Just saying...

I use mostly ableton stock eq - I love sketchcassette II by aberrant dsp and for compression I got some Arturia plug ins >> also Valhalla vintage verb ftw 🙌🏼

Be careful having interface ontop of monitors the vibrations can damage the inside components and cause the interface to malfunction (definitely not speaking from experience...)

I use it for my sample library so that it doesn't take as much of my internal space. I keep all of my programs installed internally though so that boot times aren't affected.

I have a smell bedroom studio too.
