My Bearded Dragons First Month At Home! | Feeding, Bathing, Pooping And More

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

As many of you guys know, I recently got a pet bearded dragon! I didn’t introduce her to you guys until the end of February, but I actually got her back in January. While I had her, I recorded some moments from her first month at home for you guys to see. I hope you guys enjoy seeing Lex eating, basking, running, bathing and even pooping 💩.

    Your beardie is so cute 😍. Even as a full grown adult, mine is too lazy to walk over to her bowl. Haha. Also, mine wasn't interested in hornworms for a while, but once she finally tried one (well into adulthood), they were/still are her favorite (those and waxworms)

    bearded dragons do not shed everything at once so something being left on her head is not something you need to remove, it WILL come off on its own eventually! if you take it off it can damage her skin, just as a general thing to keep in mind!

    Hi I don’t know if you can get back to me but I’ll try I have a few questions where can you buy bearded dragons online? And what do you have to put on their food? How do you put the crickets in without dumping the whole container out and what’s best for them when their babies

  • @kate-oe3yx

    @kate-oe3yx

    4 жыл бұрын

    hi ill try to answer :). i bought my dragon at a pet store that i trusted, but there are many great online stores for getting dragons too; like Atomic Lizard Ranch, Reptile City, etc. some may be out of stock though. the powder she uses to dust the beardie’s food with is calcium supplement, which is necessary to help with beardie bone growth. along with the calcium powder almost daily you should around 3 times a week dust food with a vitamin supplement. to put crickets in the cage, you could either hand feed (which may take a while because baby beardies can eat over 50 crickets) or get a separate container, put the crickets in that along with calcium powder, and then put the beardie in the separate container and let it eat for around 10-15 minutes. do this around 2 or 3 times a day with as many crickets as you feel you should, but only do this process when the beardie is young though, because when its older its diet will be mainly veggies. and as a baby also give it small amounts of beardie approved veggies (there are many lists online of safe veggies) daily along with any bugs you feed it even if they arent interested at first. also when theyre babies its recommended to have a diet of 75% protein (bugs) and 25% veggies, which isnt easy to pull off considering how picky babies are, but is possible. hope this helps!! reply if you have any more questions

    Lol, the bearded dragon saw the worms through the glass and got excited… happens for most beardies. They are very smart and see everything thats happening outside their enclosure. Glass surfing isn’t always a sign of stress, a bored beardie will glass surf.

    Yep, the government is concerned that the climate is too good for hamsters and that the environment is very fragile. So if a few hamsters escape or get released, the ecosystem will be destroyed. So the government decided to take a ban in the hamster

    Dixie White Hawaii bans many pets I’m sure more than any other state. Because the ecosystem is fragile, their are only a few native birds, and some small mammals. So if any non native in introduced, the ecosystem has a really high chance of being completely destroyed. If snake aare introduced, they would wipe out all the birds and mammals. Its actually happening right now, Brown snakes are already introduced to Hawaii and they are wiping off the birds. The government is trying to cull all of them but idk how it’s going
