My Art Is... MELTING? - Painting Cool Canvas Effects
Ойын-сауық
I created these dripping painted canvas so long about and I think it's about time I created some neat illustrations with the same concept! It's really fun to play around with, I kind of want to try a sort of 3D glitch effect next!

Maybe it's just me but I could really see these paintings hanging up in a nursery or toddler bedroom 😄I think it's the colors and simplistic design. Either way, I love them

Experimenting is the most fun!
Those turned out so good! That orange cat is weirdly creepy to me, in a good way.
omg i wish u could do a greyscale like that but as a grave yard and used cardboad or popsicle sticks for tombstones and the cats as kitty ghosts would have been so dope! but this art is amazing too, obviously, inspirational XD
6 years ago I found this channel with the pokemon from memory video, at some point I lost this channel, six years later I remembered and I found it again, thank you for all those memories years ago, you really made an impact on me and my journey with my art!
your art is just so cute and creative and weird??? I love it sm and I really like the blue coming out of the clouds :O it looks to me like *heavily* stylized rain lol
Man it would be so much fun to see your work in an art gallery, not just the creative out of the box ones but I would Love to see all of your crayons drawings 🥰
Kasey I’m not sure if you’re still feeling burnout or not but these latest videos feel like a renewed sense of creativity and inspiration! I hope you’re enjoying yourself with this experimenting! It’s really refreshing to watch!

Unfortunately I am, but every once in a while I really get into it! As you can tell... this is one of those times. Haha.
I love these, I love how inventive you are mixing crafty bits with your painting. The pop of colour on the monochrome one is perfecto.
Your grayscale bathroom has become iconic

To the point I even pee grey!
I love the gray scale painting. Your detail work is very satisfying.
ngl the orange cat's eyes melting is kinda disturbing, but in Kasey's style it's still somehow cute and charming 😺
I really liked the second one, the first one was cute also, but the second one was so so good
I just realised I hadn't had any of your vids recommended in months! I'm glad you're still active, too many art-tubers have stopped posting as much, the algorithm also sucks for artists :( Thank you for the video!
"Canvi" (can-vai) is definitely a word we should adapt into the English lexicon. Very Latin and very pretentious, it'll fit in perfectly
I love your art, thank you Kasey! It really inspires my art, so thank you for sharing your creations
Your art makes me so happy 😭❤️
These 3D art makes me want to see a Kasey Golden Diorama
I love the playfulness of these! I might have to steal that idea for one of my own.
I love your cats so much!!!! ❤
I love your art styles and techniques! 🥰
You had me at "I like to hoard and keep lots of crafty things." *Subscribe💛
such trippy kitties
0:50 This gave me an idea: Popsicle sticks for the goopy drips. Use a glue gun to stick them to the canvas. As a bonus you can be extra messy with the glue gun and just paint over it
It's uncanny how perfectly your visual style fits the look of the chonky drips. I LOVE these, espec. the B&W one 💚
Idk if its something you'd want to add to your unconventional art tools, but Silicone Caulking which you can get at the hardware store, can be used for feathering down the edges between the thickness of the cardboard and the canvas. It goes down super clean, its easy to smooth and blend out and it dries quickly and lasts a long time! Just make sure you get *paintable* caulking

Interesting! I actually used caulk on the giant pencil in my background to try smoothing out some areas between cardboard! I think I was desperate at the time so I wasn't thinking about using it again! Might try it out!
I love both of these!
I love this, i never would have thought of this!
I love them! All these shapes and characters look so good combined=3
I love how you are always trying new things and how you allow yourself to be creative. You have always been an inspiration to me. ❤❤❤
I don't know if it's just me or is Kasey's voice really out of sink to the video, like she's talking about arranging all the drips while in the video she hasn't even cut them out yet. I think it qas just that part of the video. Amazing video as always 🤩✨👑.

I just yap a lot and don't feel like visually some parts are interesting enough to show for as long as I talk, haha. Does it bother you a lot? I'll consider editing around it if it's annoying!

@@KaseyTheGolden What no it's fine honestly I just thought my phone wasn't working properly. If you prefer doing it that way then you do you. 👑
an artist cliche but your art is so edible and clean, it's like gummy and candy idk i love it, i've been watching your videos since 2017 or earlier and i will watch you even if you only paint eggs or something, i am here to stay and see your bonkers art. and i mean that in a good way
aww I love these!! so creative and cute
very cool art ! good video . fun time :) . thanks for sharing .
i feel like you could make ones for shelves and such out of wooden blocks and popsicle sticks too !
I have been surprised at the popularity of the SoFlat and acrylic gouache paints! These are, in truth, just flat acrylic paints! I used to add mat medium to my acrylic paints or on top of the finished painting when I wanted a flat non glossy surface when I was painting so many years ago! I am glad your using these basic paints for your basic ideas. Well Done Kasey!
They are so cute and fun! I love them! Especially the black, white and blue one 😍👍
This is so fun! I love how creative you get with the canvas itself. It really inspires me to try and break the border of my own pieces.
These are great! I particularly love the greyscale one, it turned out so cool.
They’re so good, I love them!!
Glad to see you are still making vids. Great art idea it was fun to watch.
damn that's a cool idea! Love the black and white with a pop of color!
I love these canvases ❤
i love this, it looks amazing ❤❤❤
This is super cool! This turned out amazing
Brilliantly inventive, as always Kasey. ❤
this is really cool!
I definitely heard "drippy goopy camguy" instead of "canvi" at first, but all in all that also sounds like it could also be the subject of a Kasey piece 😂
wow! so cool! and inspirational! 😃👍
The drippy eyeball is kind of freaky but the black and grey one is so cool. Love the idea and think the clay doesn’t look bad at all. Could even try molding paste next time of spacle.
Super cute hairdo!
rubbing alcohol i believe is really good to smooth down clay/remove finger prints! just use a brush to smooth it out or even a gloved hand. good to use if you ever plan to use air clay or anything similar in future projects :D
I love these paintting so much@_@, i think i'm gonna do this too, thank you for the inspo
I LOVE THESE!!! They look wonderful, 10/10 WOULD hang them in my room XDD
You can turn the canva upside down try making Cacti! 🌵
watching this on my work computer on chrome dont know if my sound is messed up but the audio was saying you were doing a different step than the video. this is a great art piece though! Maybe try spackle instead of air dry clay next time (the stuff to fill in holes in the wall, since it's called different things)
This was so creative!! I love the bird poo cat eye 😂
So creative and inspiring! Can i take a walk through your brain please? I bet these look amazing on the wall. Im glad to see im not the only one who hoards cardboard/possible craft items lol.

Hi
Ugh I love them but I want to fix the cat eyes!!!
Hold on! Does this count as a new medium? I know 3Dish paintings exist, but this feels totally new 🤯
Sock Kasey is probably a fan that uses the name but I'm going to pretend Kasey subscribes to her own patreon as her sock doppleganger
Take a shot every time she says "piece" and RIP.
What if...the drops is upside dawn and become cactus?
O segredo na ilha be like:
So sorry to come across as mean, but the "melon cat" looks more like he has a lime peel on his head.
What ever happened to sock kasey?
is it just me or does the audio not line up with what she is currently doing? 😭 throws me off a bit
