You can’t say you’re a K-drama fan if you don’t know what boys over flowers is. I’m not gatekeeping but like everyone has heard of it. If you’re new, I recommend it, it’s very good.

Im glad to hear that Im not the only one that feels that way. I just discovered this drama (call it 2020 pandemic casualty) and when I look at his recent photos, I'm thinking, what the hell happened to him? He ruined his face, excessive plastic surgery is not reversible and I wonder if he sometimes regrets it? American women like our guys rugged and manly like Junpio in this drama not plastic pretty boys.

Boys Over Flowers is fabulous….the cast are all superb and the actress who plays Jandi is second to none ….love LMH …he plays his part so so well and the music is good. Never tire watching BOF ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Watching this clip made me think about the pacing of this show vs the pacing in most modern kdramas. If a person who has never seen this show watches this video, then they might think that this is the actual scene from the show. However there are a lot of scenes cut from this clip, which aren't exactly necessary but help develop the characters a bit more (the long scene with Jun Pyo waiting in the snow, Jan Di buying Jun Pyo coffee, etc.) Most modern kdramas are structured more like this clip with those small scenes edited out. Maybe it's why this show has a lot of episodes, i think it has about 23-25 episodes. A lot of newer kdramas only have around 10-15

@@5anaaa240 I always think a lot about a Jandi and Jihoo couple when I watch BOF. I have come to my own conclusion (others are free not to agree) that Jun Pyo is a better match for Jandi. Jihoo is, as his grandfather says, too stoic for a person like Jandi. Jun Pyo is outgoing and more expressive. He will draw Jandi out and I believe that they would be a very dynamic (and loving) couple. I also personally think that Jihoo is a bit flaky and that Jun Pyo is a person who once he has made a commitment, he is dedicated to the commitment.

Funny description. I'm a huge fan of the manga. The Taiwanese version from the early 2000s is the most aggresive scene.

Is it wrong that I've never watched this? Two reasons: One is I read the manga many years ago, before this came out, and didn't like it (he treats her so badly and she ends up falling in love with him!! What?!) And two, I love Lee Min Ho but what they have done with his hair in this is just tragic... even so, do you guys think I should watch it? Why??

Theres another BOF version called Meteor Garden. It's not in korean but in Chinese. I think it's on Netflix. But if you want another rich guy poor girl drama watch The Heirs. Or in general if you want school dramas watch the School kdramas series. There's School 2013, 2015, and 2017. Those are awesome school related kdramas.
