You have some beautiful pictures of the allotment Dave. So nice to see the blossoms on the trees or all the flowers you have. Great to see everything coming up, growing, and kudos to you to keep taking pictures all year round. This video is very nicely done. I think Dave @ 11:05 is my favourite with the great big smile on his face.

What great progress you made throughout the seasons. I think the yellow flowers are Californian poppies. Beautiful. Spring here in New Zealand. Well done with the awards too.

Thankyou, yes they were Californian poppies, a lovely burst of yellow and they seemed to go on for ages, were just coming into winter here, mud everywhere, but as the video reminded me, It'll be spring here soon too. Cheers

Thanks was a bit tricky getting the photos from the same point of view every week but seemed to work ok. Makes me miss the summer though looking back. Cheers

Very cool Dave 😎. Question in the huge tree at the back is that a giant nest 🪹 it was so visible it caught my eye right away. You have had a spectacular year and hopefully next season will be even better. Have a great week stay warm and if possible dry, Ali 🌧️🍁🇨🇦

Hi, yes it is a magpie nest, they have been nesting there a while, they had babies this year, the parents are still around. I only realised this year that the same parents have been around for years. You can hear them in a number of my old videos, I will try and pull a video of them together some time. It's a bit wet and windy at the moment but yes another great year. Hope all is well with you.
