In this video, I have shared my experience of Airbnb with Thaza & Shekhar.
I also visited some temples to understand the Hindusim of Manipur & its indigenous religion of Sanamahi.
Sanamahism, also known as Meitei religion, Manipuri religion or Kanglei religion, is an animistic, ancestor-worshipping, shaman-led religious tradition found among the Meitei people in the Manipur state of India. The term is derived from Sanamahi (lit. "Spreading like liquid everywhere"), the most important Meitei deities.
Hinduism is one of the religion practised in the state of Manipur, India. Hinduism is concentrated in valley districts of Manipur neighbouring Assam state. Hinduism practised among mostly Meitei people, Nepali people, Bengali people. Hindus constitute 41% of the population. In Manipur valley, Hindus constitute 67-74% of the population

1,500 BC, people of sindhu valley (pakistan) were called hindus, they followed vedic faith. They conquered sub continent in eastward direction and established powerful kingdoms. Later, they embraced Abrahamic faith. And, the hunter gatherers of India converted to hinduism. Contemporary hinduism being followed in bharat is not actual faith of sindhus but more like animistic worship rituals of ancient bhartis.

It's not saree but similar to saree drapping. Difference is that saree is one piece of cloth but indigenous women of northeast wear two pieces of dress. One is for bottom part of body , similar look like long skirts and other is for upper part body look like long duppatta..for Manipuri, dress of bottom portion is called Phanek and dress of upper portion is called Phidup. For Assamee, it's Mekhala -Chador and have different names in different tribes. But designs are unique and different from each other.

Sir, I hv been watching ur vlogs regularly whenever you uploaded it mostly about North East. In this vlogs m really happy to see u exploring the valley. But if you dnt mind I will share you something about religion, what I knew 😊yes when you visited the other North East states you may find difficult to understand about their indigenous God's. But according to our mythology it say that the hills and valley are bros. Their in your sentence you says why the Hinduism doesn't reach the hills it's just because the tribal hv their indigenous God that is the Almighty and according to their dialects they address differently, e. g. Rongmei called it as (tingkao lagoan) chothe called it as (pu.luchungpa) and most of the manipur tribals worshipped (sanamahi) overall PAKHANGBA. And how the Christianity influence is just because of the British...the British tried the valley people to convert to Christianity but was not succeed so they turned to hills areas by giving education and sponsored that's how hill people are mostly converted to Christianity.
